Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
All I can say is OMGawsh! My friend came over last night and we made them together. She took home a pan and I kept one. Next time I'm not sharing. LOL We doubled the topping (except pecans) and chopped up the pecans instead of doing pecan halves. I let the bread machine do the mixing and we used dental floss to cut the rolls so it was really a pretty easy recipe. We'll be making this one again and again and again and...

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
Yummers! We used the exact ingredients except we omitted the nuts. I baked this on a jellyroll pan and left 1/2 inch on the edges for expansion. I baked at 350* for 25 minutes - covered with foil the last 5 minutes to keep the edges from browning too much. We'll be making this often. I'm looking forward to making this into an ice cream cookie cake for my son's birthday as suggested by another review. :) Excellent stuff.

Oatmeal Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
5 stars for sure! Everyone in my house said they were the best waffles they've ever had. I used 1 cup white flour, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 3/4 cup oatmeal and 1/4 flaxseed mill. We'll be making these again and again. I'll be doubling the recipe from now on so we'll have plenty of leftovers for school day breakfasts.

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
This was great and we'll definitely be making it again. I didn't have fresh basil so I used dried and used half n half instead of cream. Delish!

I made this cake for a St Patrick's/birthday party at the office and everyone loved it. I made it exactly as written with no changes.

Marshmallow Icing

This was great! I made it exactly as written and it turned out perfectly. We had it with a plain ole white cake and it couldn't have been better.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I ate three bowls. I need someone to roll me off to bed. This was delicious. Such a wonderful comfort food and so easy. I used chicken broth instead of water and one cup of half and half plus a cup of milk. (was trying to use up the half & half before I had to dump it out). This is going on the regular dinner rotation this winter. I'm already looking forward to having leftovers tomorrow.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
Made these last night and they were wonderful. They are almost like mini-pumpkin cakes. I used 1 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and I used a teaspoon extra of cinnamon. Love love love this recipe. Even the kids were raving about them.

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
These are awesome and will become a regular snack at my house. We subbed pecans for the raisins (because no one at my house likes them), we used honey in places of the corn syrup and used 2/3 cup brown sugar.

Tortilla Pinwheels

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
As written I give this recipe 4 stars. It was tasty, but needed a little something. So I added a cup of sour cream, 1/2 tsp seasoned salt, and a 1/2 tsp garlic powder and some cheddar cheese. Thanks for the recipe. It's a great base that you can add to and make it your own.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
This is a great and tasty recipe for icing. I'm giving it 4 stars as written because I had to add more milk and corn syrup to get the correct mixture. I made it as written and it was too thick to do anything with - but adding the extra milk and corn syrup worked out perfectly.

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
This was good and really easy. My youngest had 2 helpings so I was very pleased. This is great for those "I don't have time to cook" nights and it's cheaper (and simpler) than going to the drive-through.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I just pulled these out of the oven a little while ago. I thought they were pretty darn good and will definitely make them again. I forgot the sugar on top and next time I'll add an extra 1/4 cup of cocoa to the dry ingredients.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
This is a great recipe. I've made it several times - as written and with changes. As written, it's a great comfort food and I almost always have everything on hand to just toss it together quickly. I made it earlier this week with the following changes: I added a garlic clove, used cream of mushroom soup, sauteed some onion, celery and mushrooms and added 1/2 cup of sour cream. I was using what I had on hand and trying to use up the last bits of produce that I didn't want to throw away. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, this recipe always turns out great.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This is the most requested meal at my house. I always add a a little worcestershire sauce and garlic powder before the soup and onion soup mix. IF we have leftovers we usually just toss in some more onion, potatoes, veggies and beef broth and make a soup or stew out of it.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
This has been a family favorite for years. We call it "corn stuff". The only difference is that I bake mine for an hour in a round casserole dish. Occasionally I'll add a handful of shredded cheese and/or some green chili's and some shredded onion. It's a great recipe that can be quite versatile.
