Navy Bean Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2014
I was not sure about the tomatoes in the soup but it really turned out great. We will make this again. I did not use the ham or the Chicken stock, just veggie stock. I did add some liquid smoke and some smoked paprika. Kind of faked DH on the missing ham.

Vegan Split Pea Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2014
This was a very easy soup to make, and it was very hardy. DH and I both really enjoyed the soup. DH had to add a little salt to his, but overall it was a creamy, thick soup that hit the spot. We will make it again.

Not sure what I did wrong, but I am unable to leave this out of the ridge, it is just too soft at room temp, but out of the fridge it is like heaven!

Sour Cream Chicken Paprika

Hearty creamy goodness. We have made this twice and the second time was much, MUCH better than the first. I added a little bit more flour the second time and it thickened up very nice. This will become one of our go to dishes.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
We had high expectations for this dish, it held a lot of promise, but seemed to fall flat. The filling was creamy, the chicken was tender and bacon was crisp, but I guess we expected more. we followed it as written.

Anniversary Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Very salty - I would recommend cutting the soy or the cheese down a little to eliminate some of the salty taste. Otherwise it made a beautiful sauce that went well with creamed potatoes.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
The recipe made more than my deep dish would hold, I ended up using two crusts and it filled them both about 3/4 of the ways on each. The filling was great and hearty. We used it as our Meatless Monday meal, and Hubby even liked it!

Cranberry-Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
These turned out very cake like and very moist and stayed soft. I drizzled icing over them made of powdered sugar and orange juice. I felt like the pumpkin was lost in this cookie, the fresh cranberries were wonderful, but I could not taste the pumpkin.
