Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

This recipe is so versatile. I used dark chocolate chips instead of unsweetened squares, mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese, and half and half instead of evaporated milk and it was fantastic. You control the stiffness with the amount of cream or evaporated milk you put in. I used this to frost my gluten-free king arthur chocolate cake mix and it was perfection. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Richard!!!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

This is an exceptional Apple Pie! I'm not a big fan of apple pie normally, but I too was intruiged by pouring the filling over the top crust, so I gave it a shot. Made a homemade crust that I usually make for blueberry pie (buttermilk powder gives it a delicious zing) and used 4 large granny smiths and 2 rome apples...also added the cinnamon to the apple mixture. I never thought I'd say this, but I could eat this entire pie by myself. And the lattice top...totally worth the effort! Thank you Grandma Ople.

Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

My first quiche ever! Husband and I both loved it...will definitely make again and try variations. The swiss cheese flavor was too strong for my kid, she wouldn't eat more than one bite...so in our house it's an adult dish.
