This was superb! Followed the directions exactly and cooked on the grill on low to medium about an hour. This is a keeper!

Ham and Bean Soup

Absolutely delicious! Followed the recipe except I used polish kielbasa instead of bratwurst. It took a long time to make it, but it was definitely worth it!

Pea Salad I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
Granted this sounds good, but I can't believe anyone could look at the nutritional facts and still make it. I would surely be looking for a healthier recipe.

Pasta with Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: May 28, 2009
Sounded weird but tastes Outstanding! My alterations as follows: 6 oz. ziti, 2 tblsp. oil, whole red pepper, 1 lb. turkey smoked kielbasa, 8 oz. sauerkraut (changes were based on other reviews and our personal tastes). All new recipes should be this good. When my husband likes a pasta dish, you know something is good!

Spinach Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
My husband and I loved this soup. The reviews are so helpful because you can pick and choose to adapt to your tastes. I put the uncooked rice in the pot when I added the liquid. I used 6 cups of water and three dry packages of sodium free bouillon, doubled the kielbasa, and added minced garlic. Wonderful! A keeper!

Ten Clove Garlic Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
We halved the liquid ingredients, used 1/4 tsp. salt, several tsp. minced garlic from a jar and marinated two ribeye steaks for two days in a plastic bag. My husband put them on the grill and they were absolutely delicious!

Greek Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
The recipe called for 2 cups pasta. I could not decide if that was 16 oz. or 2 measuring cups of uncooked pasta. I opted for 16 oz. and I don't think this was correct. I ended up with a ton of pasta and not enough flavor. Might try it again with half the pasta.

Super Duper Bean Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
My husband and I always keep one or two cold salads in the refrigerator. This salad is absolutely our very favorite. The only thing I change is to reduce the sugar to 1/4 cup.

Mexican Bean and Rice Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Good but a little dry. Maybe I should have used more lime juice like some others suggested.

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
This was delicious! Even though it sounded strange, I followed the recipe. Looked odd when it was cooking too - I did stir and baste it a few times. Well let me tell you it was to rave about, which my husband did at least 5 or 6 times. He said this is definitely a keeper and we are having leftovers for lunch today! I think it would also be good on other types of beef roasts.

Kim's Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
I love this recipe because it is foolproof and adaptable. I deleted the sugar and salt and added green bell pepper, green chopped olives, 2 oz. jar of chopped pimentos drained and patted dry, mustard, and chopped celery. My husband and I can't get enough of it!

Chile Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
The only ingredient I changed was to reduce the salt to approx. 1/8 tsp. I lined my pan with Release, also covered with foil and cooked on 325 for 45 min. It was perfect! I highly recommend this recipe!

Argentine Lentil Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
I absolutely love this stew! I am on a no sodium diet, I make my own barbeque sauce (sodium free), so this makes a delicious and salt free meal for me. I only had one substitution - I use a packet of Herb Ox beef bouillon instead of vegetable bouillon. The combination of flavors is delightful!

Beef Enchiladas II

Excellent and simple dish! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I used canned enchilada sauce instead of the mix because that is what I had on hand. This recipe is a keeper!

Elaine's Sweet and Tangy Loose Beef BBQ

Cut recipe down to 7 servings with no other changes except cooking the meat longer. Best BBQ my husband and I have had in years! It is so good I keep trying to think of someone with whom I can share the recipe!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
Cooked according to recipe. I failed to put anything on the roast so it was just a little bland. Definitely juicy and tender; will try again and rub down with seasonings. Very easy and hubby loved it.
