Blonde Brownies

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
I made these and followed the recipe exactly. They came out flat and funny in texture. I bake a lot and these did not turn out right. I tried to make them 2 X and they turned out the same way both times. I will be looking for a different blondie recipe.

Cinnamon Spiral Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
This was a very easy bread to make. I made 1 loaf by following the directions (almost, I omitted the raisins & didn't have pdwr milk.) and made another by putting my own little spin on it. They both came out AWESOME! For the 2nd one, I made it like I make my cinnamon rolls. I buttered the dough & used brown sugar instead of white w/ the cinnamon. My family LOVED both of them! I will definitely be adding this one to my recipe box!!

Crispy Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
WOW!! I made these last night (I used olive oil as I didn't have canola) and my whole family LOVED them! So simple! I made a pork roast & wanted something different for the side (instead of mashed potatoes). I lined my pans with aluminum foil & sprayed the heck out of it with cooking spray. The wedges came off super easy. I made 2 pans, I had 10 wedges left over. I reheated them, in the oven, today and they are even more awesome the next day! I felt guilty having them with a pork roast, but they turned out better than my roast. I ALWAYS follow the recipe to a tee the first time (except for the oil this time). Then if I want to alter it, I will the next time. I won't have to with this one! I was told to add it to my weekly supper rotation. Thanks for the recipe!

Vinegar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
I wish there were more stars!! I made a batch of these with 1/2 pecans and 1/2 walnuts. Then I gave some to my husband to try, I was in the basement and all I heard was OMG, THESE ARE AWESOME!!! I had to make another batch, right away, b/c he ate them ALL!! The 2nd batch I did try with 1/4 c brown sugar & 3/4 c white sugar. We prefer them with all white sugar, but they were EXCELLENT both ways! I also toasted the nuts. They reminded me of pecan sandies. Thanks for sharing an AWESOME recipe!!!

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
These remind me of the ones my Mom used to make when I was younger. She would use recipe on the side of the Jiffy baking mix box. But these are Much, Much better!! I made them the night before as I didn't have much time in the morning and they turned out wonderful!! Even my picky hubby LOVED them!! I made cream cheese frosting as I do always, for everything. I didn't read ANY reviews, I like to make the recipe the way it is first. I would make these again, but I would add milk a little at a time, a the dough got REALLY sticky. But still Loved them!!

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
I used swiss cheese and left over Easter ham because that's what I had. It tasted great with swiss cheese, I haven't tried it with mozzerella yet. I don't think I will though because my picky eaters loved it the way it was! They said I can make it any time!!
