I finally made this evening after putting it off since Monday. It was much easier than I expected and the taste was simply wonderful! I only made 4 chicken breasts, used egg wash with added paprika and garlic powder then dredged them in flour which I also added garlic powder and paprika to. I then browned them on the stovetop before baking for 20 mins at 350 degrees. For the wine sauce, a I combined the wine, bullion and butter. Once that started to simmer, I added an extra slice of swiss cheese. I had read many reviews from folks who made the sauce along with the chicken and I really wanted that "melted cheese" flavor and this worked. One last note, I did cut back on fat content by using low fat ham slices, reduced fat swiss cheese, fat free half and half and part real butter/part "I can't believe it's not butter". My husband couldn't tell the difference and it tastes delicious. I will make it the same way again (likely soon!!)
