Tortilla Soup II

Delicious! Followed the recipe exactly except that I multiplied it by 4! It turned out great! I added corn as well as suggested by some others on here. Very flavorful. The tortilla strips on top really seal the deal!

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Delicious! I added a bit more than just salt and pepper to taste since I really like my food to be flavorful. The particular salmon that I had took about 20 minutes instead of the suggested 15, but it was delicious! I will definitely be making this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

I thought this recipe was really good. My chicken didn't take as long to cook as it says. It was ready after about 3.5 hours. I didn't quite have as much chicken on hand as the recipe called for though, so perhaps that was why it was done more quickly.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

I enjoyed this recipe. I think next time I will add some veggies in with it as suggested by other reveiws. I had to get a bit creative with cooking the pasta. My family is GF, so I used spelt pasta. The spelt pasta is more delicate and could not stand up to the 25 minutes of cooking. So, I scooped it out earlier than that. Other than that I followed everything as written. Maybe some brocoli next time.

Sarah's Applesauce

Wondeful! I took the suggestion of another posting and doubled the recipe and put it in my slow cooker for four hours on high. My oldest daughter won't eat anything with "chunks" in it! So, I took my mixer out and ran it through the finished product. It made it really smooth and even passed my VERY picky daughter's test! Everyone loved it! The perfect sweetness. I used Molly Delicious apples.

Strawberry Freezer Jam

This was my first time making jam, so I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out. However, it turned out great! Absolutely delcious. It is sweet, but I don't find it to be overly sweet. I followed the recipe exactly and was very pleased with the results. Reading a bunch of the reviews before trying it helped a lot too! Thanks!

Easy Pasta Casserole

I'm not sure if I read the amount of pasta wrong to use, but it seemed that I had way too much cooked pasta for everything else. If I make it again I would probably use about 3/4 the amount of pasta, so that it is coated more with the sauce and other ingredients. Other than that it was good. I added some more seasoning, since I thought it might be a bit bland.

Best Chicken Ever

Great recipe. I used some of the suggestions listed here. Added the onion soup to the mixture, and put the chicken in the fridge after putting the sour cream on it. That seemed to help a lot. I also had it in the oven for less time than suggested. I think it depends on the thickness/size of the chicken breats you use. Mine would have been dried out had I kept it in for as long as suggested.

Scalloped Sweet Potatoes and Apples

I make this dish every year around the holidays and it is a big hit! Even my family members who really don't like sweet potatoes love it! I don't make it with mace either. I use cinnamon and nutmeg with Granny Smith Apples.
