BBQ Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2001
Yummy!! An easy way to have a healthy meal. This would be great stuffed into pitas! I made extra sauce to toss with it once I put it on top of green leaf lettuce.

Celery Chicken a la Koch

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2001
It sounded really bland, but it turned out not bad. My husband and daughter loved it, especially the potato chips on top. It needs some salt and pepper after cooking though. I'll make it again.

Coconut (Haupia) and Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2001
People need to make this!! It was so good, the layers are beautiful when cut, and it was surprisingly light! Next time I may use a little bit less chocolate because I love the cocunut so much! Bravo!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2001
Decided to write a second revies, my first was written in 2001 and said "Very good!! I used foil in the pan for quick clean-up, and I baked at 375 instead of what it said. The thighs came out moist, perfectly done, and delicious. I cut a bit of the soy, was afraid it might be too salty. Served over noodles." Still stands true...I forgot about my temp. change, used pieces of breasts and over did them at longer than 30 minutes! oops! The sauce is still perfect though (i add extra garlic).

Sugar Cream Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2001
Definitely quick, easy, and very yummy. I wonder though if it would work the same if you had a pre-cooked crust, and just boiled it on the stove top until thick, poured it in, and let it set.

Cranberry Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2001
Not quite the flavor I expected, but very good, and very rich because of the sour cream.

Banoffee

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2001
Sooo good...have already given the recipe to six people. Unique, flavorful, and the ginger in the crust is a MUST, so don't use a ready made one. Boiling the can? Who knew? Definitely a keeper.

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2001
Awesome instant crust, and very rich. I need to cook mine a little longer next time because the middle ended up a bit doughy.....but it was so good we ate it anyway!

Pineapple Cream Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2001
A yummy unique twist on plain cream pie, and the almond in the cream is a great idea. Tasty..but don't forget the no tasting rule!! IF you taste it while cooking and then use the same spoon to stir again, a cream pie WON'T SET. (it's a saliva enzyme thing)

Almost TOO nutty for me, but still very delicious! I'll make it again!
