Banana Buttermilk Breakfast Muffins topped with NUTELLA®

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
Delish without the Nutella! (I'm a purist -- Nutella must be eaten with a spoon.) I used all white flour, and kefir in place of the buttermilk. Even though I completely forgot to add the melted butter, these muffins still rose beautifully and taste wonderful. Good recipe, thanks!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
I used this to make tuna pasta salad and it was a big hit. The only change I made was to double the mayo, and cut the parsley in half. Was perfect with 2 C cooked macaroni noodles.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I had two bags of very stale blueberry bagels and tried this recipe to avoid throwing them out. It was AWESOME! I followed the recipe but used two whole bagels and topped them with about 1/2 C frozen blueberries. Will definitely make this again and again!!! Back for more. I made this again using old hot dog buns, cut into 3/4" chunks. Doubled the recipe and baked in 13x9 pan for about an hour. Fabulous!

Mable's Potato Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
I tried this and it turned out kind of runny. My mom says its because the warm potato melted the sugar... I probably won't try it again because it didn't taste very good...

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
Another five star review. I used this marinade on sirloin steaks for the 4th of July barbecue. The men raved about the steaks. (I love it when that happens!) :o) I used about 5 large cloves of fresh pressed garlic in place of the powder, omitted the optional hot pepper and dried garlic, and did not blend the mixture. Just threw the steaks and marinade into a freezer bag and froze them until I needed them. They were superb!! Thanks for a definite winner!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
This is wonderful great! My daughter made it first, following all the instructions just as they are given, using hot rice. The rice pudding turned out superb. I made it later, twice, using cold cooked rice. It did not thicken the way it did before, in fact, I had to lessen or omit the cold milk that is added after the cooking. It is not as creamy made this way, but still delicious.
