Herbed Sweet 'n' Sour Chicken

Excellent flavor and the chicken was extremely moist. Next time will marinate chicken several hours/overnight for more flavor. For just two, the sauce was a bit too much for the amount of chicken, so we may adjust that down. All in all, it was very good, fast and easy to prepare and a keeper! Thanks for the post Heather!

Cinnamon-Curry Tuna Salad

I really liked the combination of flavors in this salad; I've tried adding curry before to tuna salad and liked it. This time I used a sweet curry powder, but it may have been too strong with the cinnamon. I'll try it again and adjust the seasonings, but will surely be using on a regular rotation. Oven Roasted Potatoes

Pumpkin Pecan "Brownies"

I needed something last minute for a small get together and this one won and are we glad! These baked up incredibly moist and very flavorful. Like someone else said, I used individual portions of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger and allspice; also used half wheat flour. Did not have cream cheese but used marscapone cheese which also tasted great. Will definitely be making these alot more, so thanks to you Pam for this great recipe!

Roast Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

Enjoyed this meal at Christmas; the combination of seasonings for the marinate was very flavorful and the roast turned out pretty moist and tender. Will certainly use this rec again, so encourage you to try it also. Thanks for the post!

Bran Flax Muffins

Really great tasting muffin, though I did make a couple changes because of what I had on hand. Used grated sweet potatoes vs. carrots and added a little bit of dried fruit-dates and cranberries. Very moist and flavorful-will be making these again, so thanks for this healthy rec!

Microwave Potato Chips

This recipe intrigued me for awhile before trying it out and then I had to experiment on the exact thickness to set my mandoline to. Also, as other people said, watched the timing to get them exactly done enough. Tried it with sweet potatoes also, which came out pretty good. Thanks to the reviewers that recommended spraying PAM on microwave tray and on top of potato slices before cooking. This was a great addition to lunch as well as a snack if you're not in a hurry!~!! Thanks for the post.

Excellent recipe and great flakiness. Only thing I did wrong was add too much liquid at once and the dough was too moist and hard to roll out. But still after baking, it tasted delicious and will def be using this again! Thanks for the blog post and great step by step instructions.

Cranberry Sauce with Jalapeno Peppers

Wanted to try another variation of the run-of-the-mill sauce and this one hit the mark! Excellent flavors all melded together into a mouth watering accompaniment to the turkey. Only change we made was to sub chardonnay wine for the sherry (only cuz we didn't have it). Thanks for a great recipe.

My Favorite Beet Salad

Great combination of flavors-from veggies to dressing! Thought it might need a little more of something (herb or spice), to add additional layer of flavor, just not quite sure exactly what. Could not find any arugula so put it over a bed of mixed greens. All in all, very tasty and glad for the recipe post, monkeydoo3!

Overall, I was pretty happy with the flavor of the cake; to me, it was a little on the spongey side, but that could have been being in my microwave a bit too long. Dilly Crab Salad

Great custom rec, 1gdcowgrl! Thanks for the post; followed the recipe for the most part as far as dressing and other ingredients except I had some cabbage that needed to be used right away so shredded that and mixed in. The dill and Old Bay flavors came together very well and we really liked the end result. Next time I will use a wheat pasta and expect to have another great meal for a hot summer!! Keep posting, please!

Peachy Rice Salad

Oh my!! What a refreshing light salad on a hot summer day. Made pretty much as listed, except used vanilla flavored yogurt, and without honey as I knew the yogurt was sweet enough. Also added just a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon and cardamon to add a bit more flavor to it. So this will def be a repeated dish at our house! Thanks for the post, Linda.

Sharyl's Spicy Chicken

Great flavor combinations on the spices, though I did add a little cajun spice cuz did not have the hot paprika. Also used thigh/leg quarters and still had great results with this sub. Will be using this one again with chicken breast also. Thanks Sharyl4!!

Sweet Potato Apple Salad

Excellent flavor combination; very refreshing for a picnic gathering or any potluck for that matter. Adding to the reviewer's comment about not overcooking the sweet potatoes, I microwaved them just enough to be slightly underdone and they continue cooking themselves in a few minutes. Will definitely make this again, perhaps adding a bit of unsalted sunflower seeds for more crunch and flavor.
