It was OK, I will probably make it again with a few adjustments. I tend to like a little more heat, so I will add some dry pepper flakes.

Molly's Chicken

The taste was pretty good, but it was done cooking after 6 hours (not 8 as stated), so I had to let it sit on "warm" in the crock pot until dinner time. By then the chicken was falling off the bone, but not over-cooked, which would have been fine on it's own. However, because they were drumsticks, there were then little bones mixed in with the chicken that had fallen off, and this was a little scary to me. I had to pick through everyone's plate to make sure they didn't choke on any bones.

Overall very easy and great-smelling. I had a little trouble rolling it out in the beginning, but the more I worked with it the easier it was. I think next time I will add some glue as others have suggested to make them a little less brittle (the only reason I didn't give 5 stars).

Autumn Cheesecake

I hate to do this, especially to a recipe that so many other people enjoyed, but mine didn't turn out well. I made it for Thaknsgiving and it was hardly touched. The crust burned, the filling had an unusual texture, and there were too many apples so they didn't cook through. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what the problem was. I've made lots of cheesecakes and I was a little unsure about the ingredients for the filling, they seemed lacking, but I trusted the recipe. I'm sorry but I was really disappointed and will not be making this again or recommending it.

Easy and tasty; the only complaint was that it was a little too sweet. We served it with fresh whipped cream to help comabt the sweetness.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

The taste and texture were great. The only problem I had was that it rose quite a bit while cooking, which I wasn't expecting, so I ended up with a thick crust. Not really a bad thing, but I usually prefer a thinner crust so next time I will split the dough in half to make two thin crust pizzas.

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

The cake tasted great, which is why I gave it a high score even though the outside burned before the inside was cooked. I'm not sure how that happened, but I scrapped off the burned stuff and it was good.

Lime Garlic Chicken

I'm not sure if it was something that I did wrong, but the garlic burned and gave a bitter taste to the chicken, and the lime flavor wasn't strong enough for my liking. I really wanted this dish to work out, so I will try it again with a few changes; I will remove the garlic from the oil after it is "toasted" and I will add lime zest with the lemon pepper at the end.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Very nice icing once dry, but it can take awhile to set up. I used gel food coloring, so as not to thin out the icing too much.

Light Wheat Rolls

I'm new to bread-making and found this fairly easy to do (if a little time consuming). I didn't shape them into coils, instead I made regular round dinner rolls. They tasted OK, nothing spectacular; I will definitely make them again, because they are a good standard dinner roll.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

This is now my favorite frosting! It came out light and tangy, with just enough sweetness. I used coconut extract instead of almond because I was using it for a coconut cream cake, and it was fabulous!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

So quick, easy and fool-proof! All of my other attempts at pizza crust have produced dough that is too elastic or rises too much during baking, I had no problems with this dough. BTW, I used unbleached flour and canola oil and it still turned out great.
