Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
I made this recently and didn't have corn syrup so just left it out, and they turned out fine. I baked part of the dough without the chocolate chips, for plain peanut butter cookies, which were a hit, and I added Ghirardelli bittersweet chips to the rest, and those were delicious too. I would definitely make this again!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2013
This was so easy! I put the 2 pork tenderloins into the crock pot, added 1 bottle of root beer, and cooked 5 hours on medium. It came out moist, tender, and so easy to shred. I added Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and served on toasted buns with slaw. Easy and delicious!

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This was the best homemade pizza I have ever made. I used one loaf of frozen bread dough but only about 2/3 pound of Bob Evans italian sausage, and divided it all between two 9" cake pans. I thought it would be dry with no sauce, but even with draining the tomatoes well, it turned out perfectly and was delicious!

Toasted Almond Party Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made this for Thanksgiving and mixed all the ingredients but baked the next day. It turned out perfectly and was a big hit, there was none left! I served it with Ritz wheat crackers and red grapes. I would definitely make to serve at a party again.

Beef Burgundy III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
This is delicious! Regular cream of mushroom soup works very well if you can't find golden mushroom. I used baby portabellas and they were delicious as well. I also used 1/2 bottle of Red Truck Pinot Noir, and omitted the butter. It does need to simmer for about 2 hours. When you mix everything together, the sauce looks very pink, but after simmering, it is brown. I simmered uncovered after 2 hours to thicken the sauce, and served over baked potatoes. This is one of my favorite winter recipes!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
This recipe is excellent! I used chicken broth instead of beef broth and it came out beautifully. The pork is very tender and easier to shred than a pork roast. It could be spiced up with green chilis and chili powder for port tacos as well as being served with BBQ sauce.

Mary's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
I haven't made meatloaf in many years but chose this recipe because it was simple and used ingredients I had. It turned out fantastic, and it didn't need 2 hours of cooking time. I made one pan that was about half a batch and baked one hour, and the 1.5 pound loaf I baked 1.5 hours. I used half ground beef and half ground pork and it was delicious!

Easy icing to make, it thickened quickly, so spread it quickly! Tastes delicious, great for a serious chocolate fix!

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
These pancakes were delicious, cooked up perfectly with frozen blueberries added on top of the batter in the pan. Will definitely make again, much better than boxed mix.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
This pizza crust is fantastic! I have made it twice and it came out beautifully both times. I found that when using it to make Chicago-Style Buffalo Chicken Pan Pizza on Allrecipes, use the baking temperature and time in the pizza recipe and not the crust recipe and it turns out fine. My friend made a vegetarian pizza and thought the crust was so good you could eat it with no toppings. I will be making this again this week!

Maria's Paella

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
I made this for New Year's Eve with a friend who has the big paella pan, and it was delicious and looks so impressive. I used large shrimp and scallops, littleneck clams, mussels, freshly made chorizo, and chicken thighs (next time I would not include the mussels or clams but will add salmon). Following some of the other reviews, I used a combination of white wine and chicken broth for the liquid, and 28 oz of crushed tomatoes. I added a sprinkle of hot paprika. I served some hot curry Spanish olives on the side.

Yummy Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
I added 1 tsp each of onion and garlic powder, and some worchestershire sauce. I also used the real bacon pieces from a jar instead of cooking the bacon. I divided into two smaller cheese balls. It is an easy recipe that goes together quickly and is a crowd pleaser.

Citrus Scallops I

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
I used 2 navel oranges instead of 4 and I still thought it was too sweet. Overall it was nothing special and next time I would make scallops scampi instead.

Chef John's Sausage & Shrimp Jambalaya

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
I made this for Fat Tuesday and it was tasty. I used leftover rice so I didn't use the chicken broth and didn't cook the rice in the dish. If I made it again, I would use some tomato sauce and/or paste to make the broth thicker, if I wasn't cooking the rice with it.

Cinnamon Coffee Puffs

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2012
I made half a batch, used cinnamon instead of nutmeg, and used twice the amount of cinnamon, and still they were very bland.
