I was a little leary about trying this cake, but it turned out great!! It was also DE-licious, thanks to all the great tips from others. I substituted 2 tbsps. of cornstarch for 2 tbsps. of flour for each cup of flour, sifted my dry ingredients twice, used cake flour, 2 tsps. of pure vanilla extract, made sure to cream the butter and sugar well and then creamed it well again with each egg yolk added, lined my cake pans with parchment paper, and tapped the pans on the counter to rid any air bubbles prior to cooking. It was the perfect yellow cake recipe. Thanks David!!
