Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
It gets a little tricky when the cream freezes to the fruit but if you keep blending, it turns out soooooo yummy! I really liked it with frozen mixed berries.

Amazing Simple Thai Tofu

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
It was good but the peanut butter was a little overpowering. If I made it again I would use less peanut butter.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
These are delicous!!! I like serving them with fresh salsa. I also took the advice from other users and used black beans instead of kidney beans and did not mash them. My husband loves this recipe too!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
Yummm! This is the best salmon recipe I have ever tried. I serve it over rice with asparagus or green beans on the side. It's one of my husband's favorite meals! I bake it at 425 for about 15 min.

Maria's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
I tried this with teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce, like other users suggested, and thought it was too sweet. Then I tried it with soy sauce and loved it! If you want to add extra sweetness, my suggestion would be to add more honey. Great recipe!

Chicken Costa Brava

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
WOW. This recipe totally surprised me. So different and so delicious! I used extra pineapple and extra salsa. I doubled the spices like other users suggested. Next time I will probably use 1 1/2 times what the recipe calls for instead of double. This is now one of my favorite recipes!

Asian Chicken Salad

Very good. I added snap peas, almonds and tangerines. Definitely recommend romaine lettuce instead of iceberg.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
Great chili recipe! I was having a large group of people over for lunch and decided to give this a try. I added black olives and two small cans of chopped green chilis. I also substituted black beans for pinto beans and topped with cheddar cheese. Everyone loved it!

Coconut Macaroons II

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
These were really good. I used extra coconut flakes. Next time I'll add a little flour so they hold together more firmly. *** Update*** not sure if the flour helps much or not but putting the dough in the fridge for a little while before rolling helps and also squeezing the balls a lot when rolling them. Also, cooking spray works MUCH better than butter for keeping the macaroons from sticking on the baking pan. Foil just makes it more complicated, so skip that.

This was a huge hit at my church! I also made it with chicken broth instead of turkey broth... a month after Thanksgiving. :)

The first time I made this, the green beans were not crunchy enough. The next time I got it right and this was a great side dish!

Almond-Topped Fish

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This is a restauarant quality dish! The more onions, the better. Great over rice. I used double the parmesan cheese. Don't make a strong flavor with your side dish because this has a very rich flavor. Steamed asparagus or green beans is perfect.

Navratan Korma

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
Delicious! This was my first time making an Indian dish and it was really easy and turned out really well! I used half the cayenne pepper and golden raisins as others suggested and i'm glad I did. I used mixed frozen vegetables, which was easier and turned out great. I also substituted the milk for coconut milk. Love it and will make it again for sure!
