Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
To be honest, you can start with this basic Chili recipe, add practically anything, and it will turn out fantastic. I cleaned my cupboards with this one. I added black beans, kidney beans, red beans, hot sauce, ketchup, onions, red pepper and more. Very good base recipe and an excellent way to use up cans of odds and ends.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs III

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
This is THE BEST sweet and sour meatball recipe ever! I was a skeptic at first, especially while blending the ingredients, it just smelled so nasty! But in the end it is just the tastiest dish I've made so far from AllRecipes.com! I used lean ground turkey and threw a bunch of spices in to make the meatballs, added the weird mixture of canned goods and VIOLA! Perfect! Make this dish, your family will thank you!

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese II

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This was a great recipe! I think the crunchy, sticking cheese complaints are actually what makes this so good! Adds great texture to the dish. I made a few adjustments for our family. I added 1tbs of Dijon mustard, some finely chopped onion, garlic powder and made a roux sauce with flour, butter and 2c of skim milk since I didn't have any evaporated milk on hand or an egg. Turned out wonderful! If your expecting Kraft Mac n' Cheese skip this recipe. It's a much better version in my own opinion!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
With all the reviews on this dish I was left a little unimpressed. I followed the recipe to the T and found it was very salty- a bit too much for my taste. While the flavor was good, it really covers the chicken flavor to the point you would have no idea what meat your eating. All in all, it was decent but not a 5 star. Maybe next time I'll use a monteray cheese rather than the saltier cheddar.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2008
My entire family loves this great cheescake. It's so easy to make but looks like it took hours, and the taste has every family member during the holidays request it again for next year. Add a big dollop of French Vanilla Cool Whip and you've got a deelish dessert.
