This, like everyone else says, truly is the best. I used one of the commenters modifiers by subbing 1/2 cup oil for 1/2 c. applesause. Also, used 1 cup brown/1 white instead of two white. SO GOOD. The second time I made it, I added food coloring to frosting (3 red, 3 yellow) and used the 1/2 c. less confectioners sugar. I wanted to make a round cake, so I used two 8 inch round pans, and cooked them for 10 min less than the original time. Then, I frosted the bottom cake all around, with a little frosting on top, then the top cake, and added some sparkly sprinkles, walnuts and mellocreme pumpkins for that festive look!
