Salt Substitute

This was incredibly chalky and the mix of flavors were way too overpowering. I have tried this on a number of different foods, vegetables, potatoes, meat, and all the same result. The only thing that I find this works on is when you roast potatoes in the oven.

This recipe created a great texture but it was way too much lemonade! It was way too overpowering. So, I cut the lemonade in half and increased the strawberries to 8 oz. instead of 5. It definately tasted better and wasn't as bitter.

Belgian Waffles

I have never reviewed a recipe before but I must after two mornings of these delicious waffles! My in-laws bought us a belgian waffle maker and after trying the recipe that came with the machine, we were disappointed. The batter was watery even after an hour rise. I spent the week perusing recipes and found this one. Oh my goodness was it good. I made half of the batter on Saturday and the other half on Sunday. They were even better the next day. I fully recommend these waffles. They were crispy yet soft on the inside. They were nice and sweet with a great yeasty flavor. I'm done searching for the perfect recipe as this is it!

Banana Muffins II

I made these and they smelled so good but when I ate one, about 10 minutes later I had the strongest baking powder after-taste. My husband wouldn't even eat another one. He eats pretty much anything (except for an attempt a salisbury steak make with ground chicken). I threw the rest away and will never make these again. I gave it 2 stars because they were really moist and a great consistency for muffins.

Fudgy Chocolate Chip Muffins

This recipe was horrible. I followed the recipe to a T and all of the muffins came out of the oven sunk in the middle. Thinking it was the baking soda (maybe it was a little too old), I bought a new box and made the muffins again. And again, they were sunk in the middle. I really, really would not recommend this recipe.
