I can't wait to take these to Easter Dinner. They taste great and the color is so vivid and rich looking with the glaze. This will be a unique substitute to yams. Amazing!

Quick Chicken a la King

I am giving this five stars, not because it's the best I've ever had but, because it was so easy to make and it still tasted very good. I changed a few things to suit my craving. I didn't want chicken in it so I used cut up mushrooms and onions to add bulk. I sauteed them in with the bell pepper and butter until the natural moisture was reduced a bit. I then added the soup but did not add milk because I like mine to be thick. I eat it on toast so I didn't want it to be too wet. This vegetarian method tastes just like if you were to put chicken in it.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

I am in awe. I've never had homemade pancakes that were this good. I didn't have buttermilk so I used regular and they were still awesome. I am sort of kicking myself because I didn't think of making homemade buttermilk, which isn't difficult by using either cream of tartar, lemon juice or vinegar. I am sure they will be outstanding next time because they were amazing today! Next time just might be tomorrow! Thanks so much for this great recipe!

Kielbasa Appetizers

I will never make kielbasa appetizers any other way from now on. I halved the recipe to test them out. I used my favorite dark beer and I used original "Open Pit" BBQ sauce because I figured that using a sweet sauce would make them too sweet with the added brown sugar. They were perfect. Thanks for this great recipe!

Scrumptious Sauerkraut Balls

This is the exact same recipe the was handed down to me by my Mother in-law, God bless her! My husband hates kraut, but loves these so much! He made me try them when we first got married 9 years ago and we have made them at the holidays, especially New Year's Eve, ever since! They are fantastic, unique and worth every bit of effort!
