Pakistani Spicy Chickpeas
I found this recipe on another website last winter and absolutely loved it. I use mustard seed and cumin seed, and add freshly chopped parsley. Also, I typically use coconut oil (which surprisingly doesn't affect the flavor). This is an awesome vegetarian/vegan dish that is very filling when paired with brown rice. Awesome.

Lemon Pie Bars
Does anyone have any experience using egg substitute and homemade powdered sugar? I really wanted these and I'm making them now, but it's been a strange experience. My shortbread puffed up A LOT and when I poured the egg-free version of the lemon filling on it, it broke the top of the shortbread and kind of sunk half way in....I'm not very hopeful, and will post how they come out. Any pointers for future substitutions would be helpful :) update: they came out like lemon mush with strange flavor. the recipe made correctly is wonderful, and I have learned my substitute lesson
