Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
It was all great, nice and tender, I added some creole seasoning to everything. The only problem is that baking it with the sauce makes the breading soggy. Next time I'll pour the sauce on after I bake it. I only baked them for 30 minutes.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
This was totally awesome. I used parsley instead of celery seed and added more salt and a tablespoon of allspice. I am definitely making it again, next time I'm making two pies!

Chicken Andouille Gumbo

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Loved this. Next time I'm making it with shrimp, crab and sausage. Oh and you forgot the ONION!! (the trinity...onion, celery and bell pepper) It was also a little bland so I added a few tablespoons of Cajun Seasoning.

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
I didn't like this much. It was pretty dry and bland. I think it was the crackers I didn't like, not to mention there's WAY too much chicken. I would recommend using only 2lbs of chicken, adding an additional can of cream of chicken soup and doubling the sour cream. Then add some more spices. This recipe inspired me to create a great recipe of my own! So thank you for that.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
I really enjoyed this. It just needs more meat and more seasoning. I added a couple tablespoons of creole seasoning and some pepper. I didn't have any more sausage, but need time I will use 2 lbs.

Four Cheese Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
Me and my husband didn't like this. It was missing something...It just tasted like plain old macaroni made with expensive cheeses. Didn't have much flavor...smelled GREAT in the oven though, LOL.

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This was soooo good! I used cornbread stuffing and added some spices while boiling the chicken (season all, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper) and replaced the cream of celery soup with an additional can of cream of chicken soup. This turned out great and I will definitely be making it again! Thanks for the great recipe!

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
This was very good! I used feta instead of Gouda. After it was cooked, I sprinkled feta and parsley on top and served it with cheesy rice and extra stuffing.

Sushi Roll

Awesome recipe! My husband and I love sushi, but it is so dang expensive to buy at the store. This was surprisingly simple to make. Thank you so much for this great recipe!

Beef Stew with Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
This was great, the whole family loved it. I didn't use mushrooms or green peppers because my kids and husband hate them, but it still tasted great. I didn't make the dumplings, I just used a can of buttermilk biscuits that I had in the fridge.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
Pretty Good! It reminds me of the toasted raviolis at Olive Garden. They were a little bland so I added some more spices. I used meat ravioli, next time I will try cheese ravioli.

These were absolutely delicious! I couldn't stop eating them! I doubled the recipe and added two tablespoons of zesty honey mustard to the sauce. These go great with a couple cold beers.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
I used shake and bake to coat the chicken and I also marinated the chicken before I cooked it. I used provolone instead of swiss, because I just like it better.

Creamy Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I thought these were very good. My husband hates all deviled eggs so he refused to even try them (hard-headed), but me and my twin two year old toddlers loved them. There were 12 egg halves and no leftovers.

Pretty Good. I used swiss and cheddar cheese, then baked it so it was crispy on top. Needed a lot of salt.
