Very cute! My kids loved them. It does take awhile to make them, but it was worth it.

Pumpkin Toffee Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
This was OK. I thought the filling needed more sugar because it was a little plain. Thought it would be pretty interesting cheesecake because of the pumpkin flavor, but I probably won't be making this again.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
This is great meatloaf. For once I didn't have to drown mine in Ketchup. My husband and twin 4 year olds loved it also. I followed the recipe exactly, just added some pepper and garlic powder. I did not think it was too salty with the whole package of onion mix. Thank you for the recipe, will be making this again! EDIT~ Made this for the third time tonight. Instead of an actual loaf, I put the meat mixture in halfed green peppers (boiled peppers for 10 minutes prior to stuffing). Turned out great!!! Thanks again for this recipe.

Stuffed Jalapenos III

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
I have made these twice. Once for a Superbowl party and once for a St. Patty's day party. Both times I really enjoyed them. I take out the seeds because I don't always know if everyone likes spicer food. I also add shredded cheddar cheese to the cream cheese mixture for more flavor. I will make these again. Oh and I use regular cream cheese, not whipped.

Kentucky Style Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
Didn't use cornmeal, just used eggs and flour. Fried them up in bacon grease and added some cajun seasoning for more flavor.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
AWESOME!!!!!! I made these for our Superbowl party and I could not get enough. I was actually depressed when we ran out! I will definitely be making these again. I put them on skewers and baked them over a deep casserole dish so it would catch the bacon grease and they wouldn't be soggy. Baked them for 20 minutes, then flipped and baked an additional 20 minutes. After that I broiled them for a couple minutes since I like my bacon real crispy. Brown sugar really set it off, thanks for the recipe!

Basic Recipe. Turned out great. I added some honey, baked them for 6 minutes so they turned out softer.

Pretty Good. I used swiss and cheddar cheese, then baked it so it was crispy on top. Needed a lot of salt.

I liked this a lot. I cheated and used a ready-made pie crust.

These were absolutely great. I used honey instead of vanilla extract and only baked them for 5 minutes.

Creamy Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I thought these were very good. My husband hates all deviled eggs so he refused to even try them (hard-headed), but me and my twin two year old toddlers loved them. There were 12 egg halves and no leftovers.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
I used shake and bake to coat the chicken and I also marinated the chicken before I cooked it. I used provolone instead of swiss, because I just like it better.

These were absolutely delicious! I couldn't stop eating them! I doubled the recipe and added two tablespoons of zesty honey mustard to the sauce. These go great with a couple cold beers.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
Pretty Good! It reminds me of the toasted raviolis at Olive Garden. They were a little bland so I added some more spices. I used meat ravioli, next time I will try cheese ravioli.

Beef Stew with Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
This was great, the whole family loved it. I didn't use mushrooms or green peppers because my kids and husband hate them, but it still tasted great. I didn't make the dumplings, I just used a can of buttermilk biscuits that I had in the fridge.

Awesome recipe! My husband and I love sushi, but it is so dang expensive to buy at the store. This was surprisingly simple to make. Thank you so much for this great recipe!
