Mushroom Cream Gravy Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2014
Excellent recipe, didn't have heavy cream so I used half n half. I also decreased the garlic to 1/2 clove fresh minced rosemary to about 1/2-1 tsp. I did have to let it simmer about 10 min or so in order to thicken.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
I liked the muffin itself, I did not care for the topping. It was probably my error but the topping just tasted burnt to me, and did not lend any good flavor to the muffin. I did add 1 tsp of vanilla, 2 tbsp sour cream and used buttermilk instead of milk in te batter. I will make these again, next time without the topping. Thanks!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2013
Turns out great everytime, my family loves it. Not too salty as some reviewers had stated. If you are prone to find things salty then don't put as much salt into the sauce. I do not cook the lasagne noodles before I assemble the dish.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
Excellent recipe. I have used this for years at Christmas time. They always turn out perfect. Everyone asks for the recipe. They are easy to roll and not sticky like some reviewers stated. If these cookies don't turn out good then it is due to user error and not the reciepe. Thanks for sharing!!

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
My family absolutely loves this pumpkin pie, I make it without the topping because the hubby and kids don't like nuts.

Cream of Broccoli Soup V

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
Excellent! My new favorite soup! The only changes I made was to use what I had on hand: chicken stock to cook the broccoli then added to soup, 2 cups half & half instead of milk and cream, and aged cheddar cheese in place of the mozzarella. I also thickened mine a bit with cornstarch. I used another reviewers suggestion and used my potato masher to mash the broccoli instead of getting out the blender. :)

Love this recipe. Also to keep the guac from turning brown keep a pit or two from the avocado in the finished product and it will stay green until its gone!
