Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
I am not the best on reviewing recipes for the main fact that I don't really measure when adding ingredients. I added everything listed and it was very tasty. I did add potatoes and left out the celery (personal taste). This was the first pot pie I had ever made and I would like to say - it was pretty good.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
I have to admit I was a little hestitant when I read the ingredients of this recipes. I made it exactly as the recipe reads. I did make it ahead of time and put it in the fridge until I needed it. So easy for a vegetarian meal topped with salsa and sour cream. Definitely a keeper - Thanks!

Zesty Chipotle Lime Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
This recipes what great on waffles fries. I got a little adventurous as I was making it and added a dash of paprika and about 5 shakes of chili powder. Gave it a little extra kick. It was an awesome change from ranch or ketchup on fries! Definitely a keeper

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
These were wonderful cookies. My husband claimed they were the best cookies I have ever made. I definitely agree with cooling off the pan in between new batches and tha addition of 2 T vanilla and 2 tsp soda. I did notice since they are such a soft cookie I had a hard time removing from the cookie sheet once I took them out. I just left them sit on the sheet for a few minutes until I could lift the edges of the cookie without it mushing. Definitely a keeper though! Thanks! Just an update: I made this with cook and serve pudding and did NOT get the same results. Stick to instant pudding otherwise you will get flat cookies with a white powder look on the top.

Fry Bread Tacos II

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
I used this recipe for the fry bread only and added my own taco toppings. I made it for a family weekend at the lake and my in-laws told everyone back home how great they were. Such a wonderful way to change up the ordinary taco. I did find that I poked several holes in the bread to keep it fromforming bubbles.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
These were the most wonderful muffins! They were perfect for a weekday on-the-go breakfast. The topping is the best part. I didn't have any brown sugar, so I just used white sugar with a touch of vanilla and it still tasted great. Thanks for recipe - definitely a keeper!!
