Stay-at-home mom who has ventured into the substitute teacher realm this last year... Trying to adjust to working again and still do all the things I used to do- I don't think it's possible!?
My favorite things to cook
I wouldn't say this is my favorite thing to cook, but a necessity. I cook gluten-free ever since my daughter was diagnosed with a genetic-based intolerance to gluten. I also found out that I too share this gene with her and it is in my best interest to eat gluten-free as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not a lot of tradition when it comes to family cooking. My mom is a fabulous cook and I have always enjoyed her meals. However, my mom didn't really have a tradition to follow- her mom was not much of a cook- so she was always trying new recipes and branching out. Maybe that was a good example for me as I am now having to branch out too.
My cooking triumphs
Anything GF that tastes as good or better than the wheat version...
My cooking tragedies
Many and too varied to list here!
