Boston Baked Beans
I made this twice. Both times in my crockpot. First time I made it on high for 10 hrs I came home to completely burnt beans. This time I cooked them for 10hr on low but would suggest checking around 8 hrs. Also when soaking the beans do so in a flat dish as the beans soak up a fair amount of water. They are good but I think they are a little dry due to overcooking. Overall I will certainly make again but reduce the time, double the sauce and add more water then "just covering" the beans as stated. Thanks though, appreciate the from scratch recipes!!
