Bow Tie Tuna Florentine

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
This was a pretty good recipe although I doubled it. I like leftovers and finding only 8 ounces of pasta is near impossible. I did cut back on the tuna, instead of using 4 cans because of doubled, I used three just to not overdo it and I would say next time, I will only use 2. I did add more veggies than it called for. But my six year old said it was the best pasta he has ever had.

wasn't spectacular but easy enough so we can add a little more variety to the menu.

Mom's Country Gravy

Tasted like i was eating water and flour... I would of gone for more of a corn starch thickener since milk thickens when cooked. Plus i had to add seasonings to give it a flavor.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
I thought this was a good casserole as a staple that you can use on a budget and quick and easy. What I did differently was mixed extra cheese into the noodle/tuna mixture for extra cheesiness. I also like more of a "well-rounded" casserole, so I added 1 can of diced tomatoes (drained) that had peppers and onions in it and also mixed in uncooked fresh spinach. I did use two cans of tuna just to get more meat into the dish. But it turned out really good with the added cheese, tomatoes and spinach. My picky husband even noted how good it was even though it deviated from the typical tuna casserole.

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
I used this recipe as a base for general pot roast. I added an extra bay leaf and thyme to add extra flavor, cut back on the amount of garlic slices pushed into the roast and threw a couple cloves into the water to stew with the veggies. I also used my injectaflavor to inject a mixture of beef broth, thyme and garlic minced together. Husband couldn't say enough things about the roast, it smelled delicious all day and the gravy it made was excellent. I kept sneaking sips of the gravy in the last two hours of cooking.

quick easy and affordable. I substituted hot links for the sausage to add some pizazz. It was great with the extra kick.

I thought it was tasty, average side dish. Will make again. But nothing to go cuckoo over

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2004
I would of been happy without the balsamic vinegar. It added for a strange flavor that did not seem to go with the chicken base behind the whole recipe. I would of expected a creamy chicken dinner instead of a brown vinegar chicken dinner. Definately time consuming, no one in my family liked it and the recipe was followed to a "t"

Eileen's Meatloaf

It tasted yummy but I think it was a little mushy so maybe it needs to cook longer. I used 1 pound of meat and cooked it for an hour 15.

it seemed like something was missing. They tasted like sweet bisquits. Maybe I did something wrong?
