London Broil

I let this marinade overnight and it was amazing! Even my mostly picky daughter said, "5 stars!" The only thing is I took off the foil to let it brown, and I let it cook too long, so the top was a little dry. Will definitely make this again and won't repeat my mistake.

Warm Crab Dip II

This was really good. I read some of the reviews that said there wasn't enough crab taste, so I used more crab than called for. Shouldn't have. I like a creamy dip, and it wasn't creamy enough with the extra crab, but it was STILL DELICIOUS! I WILL be making this again, according to the recipe, and just enjoy it!

Coconut Macaroons IV

Very good cookie recipe! It is not a macaroon, but it is gooey and coconutty, and that's all that matters tonight! The only thing is I followed the 18 minutes @ 350 degrees...WAY TOO LONG! Cookies were too dark and crunchy, but still yummy. I had some leftover cinnamon sugar from another recipe, and used that..it was good! Next time, I will be trying one of the other suggestions about adding almond extract.

Taco Seasoning I

I like more flavor than spice, and this recipe has a LOT of heat. I decided to add a tsp. of beef bullion like someone else suggested, but that made it taste like lipton beefy onion soup mix. I will add more flavorful herbs and spices next time and less chili powder and flakes.

Easy Hummus

Like another reviewer, I love garlic, but this was way too much. I will definitely make it again but go with 2 cloves so the garlic is there but more muted. I also had to add more bean liquid and olive oil to make it a smooth consistency. I do NOT like heat, so I left out the jalapenos. Definitely yummy.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

Very tasty, but it was very hard for me at first to get over how it is all butter and sugar...I followed the recipe exactly and it worked and my kids loved it. I used it for sugar cookies, but it would probably work better on a cake or cupcakes.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Our cheesecake cracked even with spraying the sides, but I think it was in the oven too long. Next time I'll try the reviewer's suggestion that said turn off the oven as soon as you put it in and let it sit several hours. It was still so delicious - just like authentic NY cheesecake!

Flat Iron Steak with Three Pepper Rub

I used this recipe with mock tenderloin steaks, without the chipotle chili powder that I didn't have, and only let it sit about 1/2 an hour, and it still turned out amazing! I can't wait to try it when I have everything right. The only thing I changed on purpose is the chili powder amount because I do not like heat - and 1 teaspoon was just right to add flavor. Thanks for sharing - this is a keeper!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Unfortunately, I neither had nor like cottage cheese called for in the original recipe. This modified recipe substitutes 2 eggs for the cottage cheese, and it was like going back to my childhood! It was soooo amazingly good! Super easy. Next time I might try to modify a bit on my own by adding chopped onion and ground mustard, but for today, this was down-home, hit the spot mac-n-cheese!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

I listened to the other reviewers and used Sweet Baby Ray's and shredded the chicken. This recipe was soooo amazing!!! I will be making it at the end of the month for my family reunion. It is so easy and delicious. I made a huge batch and froze the leftovers. I won't do that again - it didn't freeze well. Just another reason to eat more (in addition to it being so good) when it's done!

Cherry Pound Cake

First time I made this, I dredged the cherries completely as instructed. I didn't care for that too much - the cake was delicious, but I thought I'd actually prefer a little cherry flavor in the cake. The second time, I doubled the cherries and didn't dredge so much or long, and it was perfect for me! I love this cake and will make it for special occasions again and again!

Pecan Pie Bars I

I didn't understand this recipe at all at first, but then realized I was making a shortbread type crust (can you tell I'm not a baker?). Anyway, this recipe is out of this world. Soooo easy, and even more delicious than easy! This is a treat that I will make over and over again!

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

This was delish! Definitely a keeper! I did make a few adjustments because I didn't have everything on hand. I used a 1 lb. bag of elbow mac and it was just fine, but I did add extra butter per one reviewer. I didn't have enough milk so I used evaporated milk. I also didn't have dijon, so I used ground mustard. Per another reviewer, I added some garlic and onion powder. I've learned to use an electric hand blender to cream the cream cheese into a sauce with other recipes, so I did that. The only thing I would change would be to not use so much bread crumb topping...I like it better with just a little topping. Anyway, my two picky boys loved it...so that's the best compliment of all!

Impressed Myself Chicken

this was AWESOME!! my wife is dieting and i made this for me and the kids and what a hit. and it's light enough (bacon aside) for my wife to enjoy too. instead of pounding the chicken, i butterflied the breasts. thanks and this is a keeper!
