Lemon and Cilantro Shrimp

I used 1/4c sofrito instead of the cilantro - it's made with cilantro and other ingredients - and it was DELISH! Thanks for sharing!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

It was very easy to prepare and tasty. I listened to the balsamic suggestions, but shouldn't have. Next time I will use the full amount and see if that makes it five stars.

Flat Iron Steak with Three Pepper Rub

I used this recipe with mock tenderloin steaks, without the chipotle chili powder that I didn't have, and only let it sit about 1/2 an hour, and it still turned out amazing! I can't wait to try it when I have everything right. The only thing I changed on purpose is the chili powder amount because I do not like heat - and 1 teaspoon was just right to add flavor. Thanks for sharing - this is a keeper!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Our cheesecake cracked even with spraying the sides, but I think it was in the oven too long. Next time I'll try the reviewer's suggestion that said turn off the oven as soon as you put it in and let it sit several hours. It was still so delicious - just like authentic NY cheesecake!

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

Very tasty, but it was very hard for me at first to get over how it is all butter and sugar...I followed the recipe exactly and it worked and my kids loved it. I used it for sugar cookies, but it would probably work better on a cake or cupcakes.

Easy Hummus

Like another reviewer, I love garlic, but this was way too much. I will definitely make it again but go with 2 cloves so the garlic is there but more muted. I also had to add more bean liquid and olive oil to make it a smooth consistency. I do NOT like heat, so I left out the jalapenos. Definitely yummy.

Taco Seasoning I

I like more flavor than spice, and this recipe has a LOT of heat. I decided to add a tsp. of beef bullion like someone else suggested, but that made it taste like lipton beefy onion soup mix. I will add more flavorful herbs and spices next time and less chili powder and flakes.

Coconut Macaroons IV

Very good cookie recipe! It is not a macaroon, but it is gooey and coconutty, and that's all that matters tonight! The only thing is I followed the 18 minutes @ 350 degrees...WAY TOO LONG! Cookies were too dark and crunchy, but still yummy. I had some leftover cinnamon sugar from another recipe, and used that..it was good! Next time, I will be trying one of the other suggestions about adding almond extract.

Warm Crab Dip II

This was really good. I read some of the reviews that said there wasn't enough crab taste, so I used more crab than called for. Shouldn't have. I like a creamy dip, and it wasn't creamy enough with the extra crab, but it was STILL DELICIOUS! I WILL be making this again, according to the recipe, and just enjoy it!

London Broil

I let this marinade overnight and it was amazing! Even my mostly picky daughter said, "5 stars!" The only thing is I took off the foil to let it brown, and I let it cook too long, so the top was a little dry. Will definitely make this again and won't repeat my mistake.
