Five Minute Ice Cream

I use 16 oz packages of strawberries and only 1/4 cup or less of sugar..Freeze and it's perfect for my morning smoothies...I have also mixed it with 1.5 cups of Vanilla Yogurt in place of the heavy cream tastes the same to me :O) I have made 4 batches in 2 weeks.. Just perfect every time..Thanks

Creamy Mango Smoothie

This turned out pretty good no sour taste from the yogurt..:O) Next time I would use frozen mango in place of fresh to keep the drink colder..as I prefer very very cold drinks I added extra ice :O) YUMMIE!!

Interesting texture & taste not bad but not Wow either...Must have milk with them they are very dry..Will be dipping them as well as next time I will try adding vanilla for flavoring

Chicken and Lentils

It was a little bland to me as I love spicy flavorful foods so I added extra spices of CUMIN and Trader Joe's Every Day Seasoning. Served this over white rice. Froze half of the recipe for lunches.Great go to quick meal any type of meat can be used...

Chicken Broth in a Slow Cooker

Great Keeper Recipe!!! Use rotisserie chicken carcass and veggies. Strained and removed bones. Yielded me 6 cups of nice rich dark broth to use in recipes.

Southwest Chicken Pie

Keeper!!!! I used ingredients I had on hand used extra this and that just the way I prefer to cook..This is great for using up leftovers you don't want to waste but no-one to eat them use this recipe to re-purpose them.

Slow Cooker Apple-Scented Venison Roast

Small Roast used 2 apples diced in 8 pieces in place of 1. Turned out great and moist about 1.5 cups of broth in the bottom created from the roast didn't add the bouillon or water..Serving this over egg noodles..Cooked it for 8 hours :O) PERFECT!! Will use this recipe again

Dry Buttermilk Ranch Mix

Dairy Free...Skipped the Buttermilk due to food allergy... Used less the 1/4 tsp celery salt in place of flakes (skipped salt in recipe) & added more garlic Used 1/4 plain yogurt/ 1/4 cup mayo and soy milk. Dropped everything in to a small mason jar mixed it up well for dd to use on Pizza tonight Thanks SD

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

cut the recipe in half only change that was needed was more water to allow the batter to mix together. Baked 25-30 mins on 325*F as I was using a glass pan.

Lentil Chili

Made this in my rice cooker..I used 1 cup lentils & 1 cup yellow split peas and left out the meat and it was great it yielded 9 big cups worth..I froze 7 for quick lunches.Thanks for a quick recipe as I always have these ingredients on hand which makes this the best recipe yet for lunches.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Loved it... Use wanton wraps recipe yield 20 wraps on layer only. Sprayed w/ butter and Baked them at 425*F until golden brown. Even my picky "I hate beans" Daughter requested it again as well as for leftovers :O)

Cut the recipe in half for 6 servings only change would be to add more garlic and try sour cream in place of mayo..:O)Placed in a mini crockpot to heat/serve..

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Cut the recipe in half since it was for 2 people and enough for 2 bowls each as well as enough for 1 bowl each the next night.Changed only that I had to use dehydrated onions sauteed in butter until golden brown & use 1/2 velvetta and 1/2 cheddar cheese :O)Love it even DD :O)

Swedish Meatballs I

I had to use frozen Turkey balls and just cream of chicken soup. Turned out good. I did however add extra milk to thin it out as well as I tbsp of minced garlic just because..We will make this again
