Started with a chain of 34 but next time I think I will do less as it seems too BIG (to wide) so maybe around 28.. I wanted to create a scarf for my dad that he didn't have to worry about loosing it just slide right over your head and down your neck...plus less inches to get in the way or could in a zipper of a coat.

As you can see it can nicely fit up around your ear/nose to keep you warm on cold nights.

Or you can easily dress up an outfit or hid a few Love Marks... So what you think?

Looks great! I agree with you about starting with a smaller amount of chain stitches. Even with it pulled up to the ear/nose level, there's still quite a bit bunched up at the neck. I LOVE this variegated color yarn! What brand/color name/number did you use?

Good job girl - - you are quite talented! If I lived in a cooler climate, I would order that neck warmer - so cute! Alas, I'm a Florida gal and even now have to run the air to keep from melting. LOL

Hey Luv maybe if it had HUGE holes in it? LOL!!It went together pretty fast plus I like the option to make it thick/thin or extra long but some I have seen are just a little toooo much...I am not into these but they are great to make for people who like this type of thing..

Well, cool! I've got you on FB too. Same Cat/cat different last name. It's funny, I never thought much about those booties until I didn't have anyone to make them for me anymore. I was wondering this morning if you could add a hood to that neck warmer. I think they actually have a name but man that would be handy. Will catch you on gmail or FB. Tbanks!
