I am married to my high school sweetheart, we have been married for almost two years already! I work am an Assistant Teacher for Head Start, and teach many adorable three, four, and five year olds.
My favorite things to cook
Baking is my passion, for my shower my sis and mom bought me a stand mixer because I like to bake, sometimes after midnight. I also enjoy pasta, I love homemade! I'm just learning to make that, different types of chicken dishes and shrimp.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love making my family favorites, the traditional type, I'm Slovak and Irish and my husband is Slovak, Polish and Italian. We gather for the big hugh events espically Christmas Eve that is the big food day for us. My entire family is there and there is lots of traditional foods. Its great!

Best Bircher Muesli
This was quick and easy to make and to eat. I drizzled a little honey over top in the morning and the night before threw some frozen peaches on top to thaw. This was so quick and easy, and tasty. Five stars!

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake
Wonderful recipe! Delish! This cheesecake was wonderful,everyone thought that I purchased it for Easter dessert, but I didn't. The only problem I had was that the cheesecake stuck to the pan after it cooled, but otherwise this recipe is a keeper.

Jam Kolaches
These cookies are known as pitky pronounced(pit-key)in my house. This is simlar to my grandmothers recipe, to help the dough from sticking to the counter, mix half cup flour and half cup sugar when rolling out and cutting, and it is best to refridgerate the dough over night.
