Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2011
this was really good. i like my cobbler un-doughy and crispy around the edges.. like this one. i used fresh raspberries and the tartness went well with the sweetness of the bread. i liked the butter taste :) not diet-friendly but delicious. i am def going to try this with other fruits! served it warm with whip topping

a perfect topping for a hotdog! i added about a tablespoon and a half of sugar instead of two and left out the onions. nice balance of flavors!

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
i love andes mints so i knew i would love these! i only added 2 cups of andes baking chips instead of adding chocolate chips too..and i forgot to buy the mint extract at the store so it got left out. these are so easy! i am the only mint lover in the family so i get these delicious cookies all to myself :)

Bacon Cheese Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
mmm mmm.. fries, cheese and bacon, what could be better? i use a jack blend cheese as it melts the easiest but still has a lot of flavor. i use a slightly easier method of cooking the fries then layering them on a plate alternating fries and cheese then microwaving them until the cheese is melted. a lot less messier than trying to get the melted cheese off the baking sheet and onto a plate and taste the same. then we add the bacon. so good!

Smoked Pork Butt

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
my dad makes this for special occasions and the smell itself is to die for.. neighbors make their way over when they know he is making his barbecue. we use a simplified version of leaving the meat plain and no brining. this brings out the flavor of the meat and the smoke taste. its a very traditional recipe. the meat should literally be so tender if falls apart when you take it off. it should be a long careful watched process to cook the meat properly. always place the meat fat side up and we always use hickory chips. we chop the meat coursely and add our favorite bbq sauce. i've had barbecue all over and this hands down is my favorite most authentic method. doesn't need anything else other than the smoke and the meat.. sometimes less is more.

Raspberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
we love these! the raspberry and white chocolate go great together. i just throw the chips in whole. they are sweet enough without the extra sugar on top so i never add it. delicious flavor!

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
this was so darn good! i cooked the chicken first then started the sauce and pasta. i used sundried tomatoes in oil and added freshly grated parmesan. next time i think i will try grilling to chicken. tasted like it was from an italian restaurant. i am not someone who looks forward to eating leftovers but i can't wait to eat this for lunch! :) thanks for such a great recipe.

These are tasty! I made exactly as written except using a bit more orange zest. I also made a glaze and drizzled it over the top by combining powdered sugar and orange juice till it reached a good consistency.
