Strawberry Butter

i used about 5 large chopped strawberries in place of the jam and added double the amount of sugar(i wanted it sweet) it was delicious on english muffins! i will be making this again with different berries(blueberries, raspberries) definitely a keeper!

Cheesy Campfire Potatoes

i tweaked these to personal preference. I subsituted onion powder for the onions, left out the butter and only used a colby jack cheese blend. these were amazing! i sliced them really thin and they didn't take 20 minutes to cook on my gas grill. i will be using variations of this recipe all through the summer!

Venice High School Cherry Butter Cookies

these are great! i halved the recipe and omitted the walnuts(i hate walnuts) i did add a lot more cherries also. nice change from the traditional shortbread cookie! will be a nice addition to my cookie platter this christmas. next time i might try adding almond extract instead of vanilla as cherry and almond go so well together.

this is great! i used mr.yoshidas sauce instead of soy sauce, i def. recommend it. a lot less salty and a touch of sweetness. my husbands favorite meal ever :)

Asian Orange Chicken

so i kinda cheated with this recipe and used a bag of frozen popcorn chicken and frozen veggies.. threw this together in like 10 minutes and it was so good! the sauce is heavenly :)

Bacon Wrapped Brown Sugar Smokies Dipping Sauce

this is soooo good! we used stubbs bourbon bbq sauce and dukes mayo. i think the better the ingredients you use, the better the outcome. they went so good with the brown sugar smokies but would also be so good with numerous things(chicken tenders, fries, on burgers) i can't wait to have another party or get together so i can make this (and the smokies) ;)

10 stars for icing! taste just like a bakery.(except better) i did use half butter and half shortening. i cut the recipe in half for 24 cupcakes and still had a ton left over, so the recipe makes a lot!

Easy Grilled Chicken Teriyaki

this is wonderful. I marinated the chicken in teriyaki sauce overnight. grilled the chicken then stir fried some veggies and tossed everything together. served over white rice. delicious! (hint, the BEST teriyaki sauce available is mr yoshidas, available only at costco or sams.. i think you can also order it online) you'll get hooked ;)

love this! i didn't use pecans because i didn't have any on hand but i am sure with them it would be even better! we like this out of the fridge cold. nice change from pumpkin pie :)

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

i have a couple things to say about these. i made exactly as written. a: not a bar! they are cake all the way. b: they are delicious none the less. i made a topping of whip cream, cream cheese and powdered sugar (i didn't want to use butter). i will probably make this again and save it in my recipe folder.. but as a cake. my search will continue for the perfect pumpkin bar. :)

Garlic Chicken

this was very good! very strong garlic flavor, great if you love garlic(we do) the breadcrumbs keep the chicken moist and the outside crunchy. i will be making this again for sure!
