About this Cook
Married for 15 years, work from home, no kids, one Golden Retriever, one Calico cat. I enjoy cooking, but Im sometimes impatient! I like the attention of cooking something that people really enjoy. My husband has very limited prefrences...thats a nice way of saying he has the pallet of a 4 year old! Will not eat beans, lamb, allergic to all fish and seafood. So I dont cook anything too adventourous. Mostly Im a Monday through Friday dinner cook. I dont bake, because I LOVE sweets and desserts, and I would eat them all!
My favorite things to cook
Chicken parmesean, Lebanese salad, Home made spaghetti sauce, Lasagna, gourmet sandwiches,
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Tamales at Christmas with my friends every year! Kielbasa and pierogi from my mom, and spaghetti sauce from my mother in law, baking Christmas cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Prosciutto wrapped blue cheese stuffed fresh figs! They were a hit! Our sauce, everyone loves it.
My cooking tragedies
Chicken Enchaladas when I was first married! I didnt know there was a difference between ground and whole corriander!!

Easy, Delicious, makes alot. Followed recipe exactly. The first time I ever bought pork steaks, they were called Pork Shoulder Steaks. This will be on the Sunday Dinner rotation! Thanks you!
