OMG! This was so good! I didn't know what to expect, never hearing of or experiencing this type of recipe. I did substitute dark brown sugar for the white and I added coconut to the top as I was giving this to a couple of old people with no teeth! Thanks for a great recipe!

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

This is very good! I don't care for sweet relish at all, so I just chopped up some of my home-canned dill pickles that I canned last fall. Great with a grilled burger and my husband gives it 5 forks up. Thanks for a delicious recipe!

Cuban Banana Casserole

Oh, I wish I had some 'nilla ice cream when I made this! It's super easy and super good and if you don't make it and put it over vanilla ice cream, you're missing out on a big treat and I don't care for bananas!

Sea Bass Cuban Style

This was so good! I made 2 1/2 substitutions in this recipe...first, I could not find sea bass anywhere in this town, so I used rockfish, second, I couldn't find my red pepper flakes anywhere, either, so I used a pinch of cayenne! The 1/2 substitution was in the form of using a shallot in place of an onion...they are in the same ballpark, so it only counts as a half! Delicious recipe and I will make this again!

This is super good! I didn't add the candied walnuts to the top because of allergies and I also just made one layer instead of 2. But the taste is phenominal, thanks for a great recipe!

I really didn't know to expect when I made this and I was wonderfully suprised. I didn't have cashews, I only had hazelnuts, so I improvised with those, other than that, I cut the recipe in half as there were only 2 of us. This is the perfect dessert after a spicy Indian meal. Thanks for the recipe!

Walnut Wheat Bread

This bread is really good...I didn't have any walnuts so I added hazelnuts instead, but that, in itself doesn't hide the actual flavor of the bread...this was the first bread I have ever baked and it came out just fine!

Quick Yeast Rolls

This was the first time I have ever used yeast and this recipe was really simple to follow and I followed exactly. These rolls are delicious, I didn't have any problems with the dough not going into the muffin cups and they baked up huge and fluffy and have a wonderful taste.

I made this and it was sooo good! I read the reviews and one of the more popular things to do was to make double the sauce...I didn't do that, I was only making this for 2. What I did do is zest 2 baby lemons and added 1/2 the zest to the flour mixture that breaded the chicken and the other half into the sauce...so good!

Dutch Apple Loaf

Oh my! This is a really good recipe! I added raisins to mine, because the Dutch apple pies I'm used to eating have raisins in them and I am giving these mini loaves as gifts...recipe made 4 mini loaves!

Sugar Coated Pecans

Oh, my...I followed a few of the suggestions, such as using extracts in the egg whites instead of water and using 2 egg whites. I used 1 teaspoon of rum extract and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. Really super good!

Hot and Sour Soup (Suan La Tang)--Northern China Style

This is just about the greatest soup I ever tasted. I love hot & sour soup in the restaurant...but this is soooo much better because with an awesome guide, I made this myself. The only thing I did different is to add some cubed skinless, boneless chicken breast at the broth and water stage! I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars, because I totally would! Thank you, 500metersdeepblue for teaching me how to do this...I am indebted to you!

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

I wish I could rate this with more stars, it definately deserves it. I made this for the first time this Thanksgiving and this pie was a definate show-stopper. One of the guests at dinner commented that it was like the creamiest fudge he ever had and it was in a pie shell to boot. I did not change one thing on this recipe other than to decorate the top of the pie with pecan halves. This is definately worth making, absolutely delicious as written with no substitutions whatsoever! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Orange Chicken

I made this last night and it was so good! I cut the recipe in half as it was for just me. The only thing I added was some crushed red pepper flakes into the bread crumb mixture and also to the egg-oj mixture to spice it up somewhat...other than that this is a fantastic recipe just as written! I just like a little heat with my food! I will make this a regular on my menu...thank you for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I know this recipe has a ton of great reviews, but I have to add mine in as well...I don't know as I will ever do a turkey breast in the oven again! This is phenominally moist and delicious. I cooked on high for 5 hours to cut down on cooking time and it even got a touch of brown on it. I can't say enough good things about this amazingly simple and delicious recipe!
