OMG! This was so good! I didn't know what to expect, never hearing of or experiencing this type of recipe. I did substitute dark brown sugar for the white and I added coconut to the top as I was giving this to a couple of old people with no teeth! Thanks for a great recipe!

Hot and Sour Soup (Suan La Tang)--Northern China Style

This is just about the greatest soup I ever tasted. I love hot & sour soup in the restaurant...but this is soooo much better because with an awesome guide, I made this myself. The only thing I did different is to add some cubed skinless, boneless chicken breast at the broth and water stage! I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars, because I totally would! Thank you, 500metersdeepblue for teaching me how to do this...I am indebted to you!

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

I wish I could rate this with more stars, it definately deserves it. I made this for the first time this Thanksgiving and this pie was a definate show-stopper. One of the guests at dinner commented that it was like the creamiest fudge he ever had and it was in a pie shell to boot. I did not change one thing on this recipe other than to decorate the top of the pie with pecan halves. This is definately worth making, absolutely delicious as written with no substitutions whatsoever! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Very good..I omitted the vinegar, but that's just my taste. Also, I didn't add salt. The hot sauce is salty enough for me. Very good recipe, thanks for sharing it!

Orange Chicken

I made this last night and it was so good! I cut the recipe in half as it was for just me. The only thing I added was some crushed red pepper flakes into the bread crumb mixture and also to the egg-oj mixture to spice it up somewhat...other than that this is a fantastic recipe just as written! I just like a little heat with my food! I will make this a regular on my menu...thank you for a great recipe!

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

I jsut got done eating these and they are phenominal! I used a mucato wine because I thought the slight sweetness would compliment the crab and it did! I also used an Italian cheese blend, but just a great recipe overall!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

I know this recipe has a ton of great reviews, but I have to add mine in as well...I don't know as I will ever do a turkey breast in the oven again! This is phenominally moist and delicious. I cooked on high for 5 hours to cut down on cooking time and it even got a touch of brown on it. I can't say enough good things about this amazingly simple and delicious recipe!

Honey Fried Chicken

I just got done making this and it is fantastic. In reading the reviews, I did alter slightly by adding dijon mustard into the honey and I used some bread crumbs in the flour mixture with some cayenne. I will be making this recipe on a regular basis from now on...thanks for a super recipe!

This recipe does make cookies that taste like eggnog. I made several types of cookies last christmas and these were one of my favorites. Thanks for a great recipe that will now be a yearly tradition!

Banana Banana Bread

I made this and it was wonderful. I don't bake mine in the oven though, I use a slow cooker and cook on high for about 2 1/2 hours and turn it off and let it cool all the way. I also glazed with a cinnamon glaze..powder sugar and cinnamon with a splash of rum extract...super good!

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

I made this the other night and it was super yummy! I read the reviews and added diced green chiles, and taco seasoning and about a tablespoon of hot sauce and it was so flavorful and good. I charred half of the tortillas and didn't with the other half, I didn't notice any difference, I did notice that charring adds a good depth of flavor to this dish though and so I would recommend doing that. Thanks for a great recipe!

Dark Rye Bread

The flavor of this bread was really good, I think it was my foul-up and didn't have the crust setting right on the machine or something, but the crust was hard and I didn't care for that part. This was the first loaf of bread that I have ever cooked and the recipe was completely simple to follow. I really enjoyed this.
