About this Cook
I have two boys,15 and 4,and two stepdaughters 12 and 9. I'm married to my best friend, for 7 years now.
My favorite things to cook
anything that my family ask me to cook (too many to list)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom still does all the cooking when we all get together, but we all pitch in to help her.
My cooking triumphs
when my mom used to go on vacations and my siblings couldn't wait for me to take over cooking, they like the way I put my own twist to her recipes.
My cooking tragedies
none so far...(knock on wood)

Goldenrod Egg
I agree with Dana, the sauce should be white as I remember eating this as a child and still crave it as an adult.

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops
I used one onion instead of two because that's all I had, I also added fresh sliced mushrooms and served it with fettuccine noodles (husband is a pasta man) I, on the other hand had it with rice, either way it was a YUMMY recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole
This is the second time of making this dish. I made this for Thanksgiving and was hoping for some leftovers but my sisters and their husbands all loved it! I always get compliments on how good it is. I was asked to make it again for Christmas.
