Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

My whole family really loved this! It took longer than 4-5 min for the milk to thicken. Well, how thick I wanted it to be. I also had no chicken boullion, so I used 2 of the knorr beef cubes. And I had no ham, so I used sliced up cooked brats. I have 5 in my family so I doubled the recipe. It says feeds 8, but I just didn't look like it would make that much, and plus I wanted left overs if possible. I will def make again.

Garlic Chicken

Made this last night and I thought it tasted great. I did read the reviews and did half salted butter half olive oil for the garlic to roast in.I also added salt to my bread crumb mixture. I also cooked it at 350 for about 30 min. One review said that cooking at 425 would be too hot and dry it out so I listened. Mine turned out SO MOIST! Almost too moist, I would rather my chicken have a crisp to the coating, I did turn temp up to 425 and cook for an addition 5 min. I would really recommend this, but you need to add salt. I will def make this again and hopefully can get the temp and time down so it will crisp up nicer next time.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Turned out better than I thought. I have never cooked a whole chicken and this was very easy to do. I didn't have any allspice or nutmeg, so I added ginger. I also doubled all the spices. I also tried to lift up some of the skin and insert spices that way. I didn't have time to marinate, I just threw it in the oven. I cooked mine a lil bit longer than suggested because I was looking for of a more golden crisp to the skin. Everybody really loved this chicken!

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Turned out so good! I did a few things different though.I sauteed my onion first in olive oil, I did one whole entire small onion. Then added minced fresh garlic and several dashes of dried basil. Then added one can chicken broth and the tomatoes. Simmered at least 10 min. Then pureed in a regular blender and then did the rest of the recipe as stated. It was a bit chunky with some seeds and skin, but I enjoyed it that way. I will def make this again. I have a ton of tomatoes from my garden.

Authentic Mexican Tortillas

they are great. made them twice so far. Except i put a lil sprinkle of garlic powder for extra tast :) my boyfriend likes to grab and eat them by themselves while i cook them because he cannot wait for dinner :) I will def make this over and over.

Bolognese Stuffed Bell Peppers

wow. we loved these so much! I used home grown bell peppers (which were small) so i had a ton of left over filling, which taste awesome by itself. I didnt have ground beef on hand, so i used ground sausage, i made it with the bacon and just used regular pasta sauce. we didnt have red wine or heavy cream, i just used 2% milk. turned out nice and thick anyway.

pretty good flavor. thanks for the receipe! very easy to make. i had all the ingredients around the house. the kids eat it all right up and its hard to get them to eat meant sometimes.

Grilled Pork Loin Chops

i havent even cook the pork chops yet but this sauce is sooo good! i was leary about the ginger and cinamon so i only did a little dash of each. and i also didnt have soy sauce on hand so i used toshidos teriyaki. it is VERY sweet. but awesome! i tripled the receipe so we could have a lot of sauce for basting and over the top when done. i will def be making this more often!

German Chocolate Cake II

i would give this a 5 star rating because it tasted so good but i cant because the frosting did not turn out at all. like another rater said "what thickness" when you are cooking in the double broiler. i swear i was cooking it for 20-30 min and i gave up. thought the fridge would help thicken it. it took so much time we didnt have time to let it thicken in the fridge. good thing i had left over german chocolate squares, i made frosting with those. i poured a lil of the coconut frosting on and put the chocolate frosting on the sides and some of the top. looked like a mess. but everbody loved it.

Blackberry Fool

pretty good. but i would have never made this if i looked at the fat content first! i didnt like the sour cream tasste so much. prob could skip that part. tasted pretty sweet to me, others said it wasnt sweet to them. i used freshed berries out of my yard. i would make this again. but other suggestions i think would be good and lower the fat content would be to have a lil layer of yogurt in it. i think also would be good if you had a lil layer of graham cracker crust.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

first time making sugar cookies. tasted really good. i think mine were a bit thick. the dough was really sticky so cutting them was hard. i even sprinkled them with powdered sugar to prevent sticking. i had to cook mine for about 10 min. i cooked them on parchment paper. very good idea to use!
