As written, I only gave this recipe 3 stars. It was far too sweet and we don't like chicken thighs. However, with a few changes, this recipe is 5 stars and the whole family loves it. The changes I made were, using boneless skinless chicken breast, cutting the sugar in half and subbing brown sugar for "half of the half", used low sodium soy sauce, a little bit of red chili flakes for some spice, tablespoon of peanut butter and a little sesame oil, and baked the chicken for only 30 minutes. This is on the weekly rotation now. If you like a lot of sauce to put over rice, double all sauce ingredients.
