Fantastic, the best mushrooms ever and they are great for people that are eating low carbs. So much flavor, next time I will double the recipe

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: May 26, 2012
I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of marinating the chicken for an hour in the teriyaki sauce. My husband flipped, he loved it so much and when I asked if he thought it was too salty he said no, my chicken was not dry at all - it was super moist and tender. He said the flavors mixed perfectly.

Waldorf Salad II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Very good, light and refreshing! I used 2 yellow and 2 red delicious apples and subbed dried cranberries instead of raisins. Next time I will leave out the celery, didnt need any more crunch and it gave off a weird taste and I will add more walnuts and possibly grapes.

Quiche Lorraine I

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
Yes I give this 5 stars but its because I tweaked the recipe. I used thick cut bacon cooked in the oven and drained grease. Sauteed the onions so they were nice and soft. Didnt use the salt because there is enough in the bacon and cheese. Used 1.5 cups of whipping cream and skipped the pepper and sugar. My husband doesnt like pie crust so I used Pillsbury Crescent rolls for the crust. We both loved it! I also made one without a crust and that was even better, served with toast or english muffin. The quiche was nice and creamy yet light at the same time. Will def make this one again.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
Excellent! I used a buffalo wing sauce and doubled the amount and instead of tossing the tenders in the sauce I kept basting them. SOOO good, chopped them up and put them on a salad. Great dinner idea

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I used just one cup of sugar and that was plenty. Didnt let it cool, just mixed it all together and it was perfect! Barely lasted one day so I mixed up another batch but this time I used limes, AWESOME limeade!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
Excellent! Nice and chewy, very dense and not too sweet. I used one bowl and did step 2 and 3 first and then step 1. I omitted the nuts and I mixed the chocolate chips in the batter but next time I will cut back on them, too much chocolate. Baked it in an 8x8 pan and it was perfect, sprayed the pan with Baking Pam first.

Pasta Peas

I liked this but I also doctored it up a bit. I used chicken stock instead of water and I sauteed garlic and pepper flakes with the onions.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
Followed the recipe to the letter except I didnt have loaf pans so I used one large cake pan and it came out fine. Not too sweet, just enough pumpkin and gingerbread flavors, worked really well together. Husband loved it with a little Cool Whip on top and a nice hot cup of coffee. Will def make this again! Made the house smell nice and spicy!

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
I doubled the apple, used granny smith. I omitted the sugar cinnamon mixutre for the top as it would have been too sweet. This was more like an apple walnut blondie than it was a cake, had a nice chewy texture to it...didnt last one day in my house.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
I did a twist on this one..a bag of frozen chicken tenders and I seasoned them with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and put them in the crockpot. Sliced a large onion and tossed it with the chicken and put in a bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and let it cook for 5 hours on low, shredded the chicken and let it sit on warm for another hour. It was not watery at all so there was no need to drain it. We loved it! Served it on texas toast with corn on the cob and homemade cole slaw...DELICIOUS!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
I changed this around a bit...I omitted the red pepper and just did the green. I added a few slices of banana peppers. Subbed grape tomatoes instead of plain tomatoes. Subbed the Asiago for Provolone and I made the dressing with the EVOO, balsamic and a dressing packages mix and poured it over the pasta and veggies and let it sit for an hour....this is fantastic!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
Excellent flavor and so easy to make. I boiled the ingredients on the stove with a little corn starch to thicken it and then I poured it over the wings. After 40 minutes I drained most of the liquid and cooked another 20 minutes and they came out nice and caramelized...very good but next time I would like to make them a bit crispier

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Excellent and super moist! I made this with coconut rum instead because we do not like dark rum and it tastes unbelievable! Used a cake pan instead of a bundt pan, the bundt pan can make the cake to crunchy on the outside. Its my go to cake recipe, not just for the holidays

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Just made 2 of these pies, the only thing I did different was use pumpkin pie spice instead of the listed items. There was a slight skin on the top, the inside is light, fluffy and creamy. Yes they are a bit sweet but they are still very good.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
DO NOT use the salt....thankfully I tasted it before I added the chicken granules and because it was so salty I made a second batch, added a ton more veggies, no salt and no more chicken granules...came out awesome except I had too much! I will def make again but will 1/2 the chicken granules

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I didnt make it with a pie crust. My husband doesnt like pie crust so I served it over egg noodles...he LOVED it! It was very good but next time I will cut back on the peas and make it with a biscuit topping or croissant topping...I didnt care for it over noodles but plain it was delish
