Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I've made this recipe numerous times and it has turned out perfectly every single time. The only thing I add are a couple of diced potatoes, I throw them in with the vegetables to cook.

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I made these last night and they were really good. Next time I might add the shallots later because mine burned. Otherwise it was a very good, very easy recipe to make.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I made this a few weeks ago and added chicken breasts, it was a huge hit. Had company tonight, grilled some rib-eyes and had this for the side dish. Another huge hit and a nice change from potatoes. The only thing I do differently is add about 3 cups of spinach instead of one. This is very easy and quick when short on time.

Herb-Crusted Chuck Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
I guess the meat was edible, the sauce wasn't.

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
I didn't care for this at all and I followed the recipe almost exactly. I reduced the flour a little, but this still turned out dry.

Very good muffins, very easy to make. You don't have to change a thing in this recipe except to double it!

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I made these pumpkin muffins as mini muffins and they turned out so cute! I baked for about 11 minutes. Only change I would make is next time I will add more nuts to the topping.

German Rouladen

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I lived in Germany for several years and this is the exact recipe I got from a German neighbor, except I use Gray Poupon mustard and omit the pickle only because I don't like pickles. This is a great recipe, good with mashed potatoes or spatze which is a german noodle you can find in the international section of most grocery stores.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
This cookie turned out cake like which I like in a chocolate chip cookie, but I did not like the flavor of the vanilla pudding. We took them on a trip and they did travel well, but unfortunately we didn't eat them all because no one cared for the taste.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
I can't tell you how good these were! My husband and 11 year old really liked them as well. I'm not a huge eater of meat, but I went back for seconds, than thirds which is unheard of. I than snacked on them for the rest of the night. I did as another reviewer suggested and reserved about 1/2 cup of the marinade, added ranch dressing and used it as a dip. I'm going to make them on the 4th for an appetizer.

Adobo Sirloin

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
I made this tonight. I doubled the recipe, probably added more lime than called for, I added more of the chipotle than called for as well. I marinated sirloin steaks and chicken tenders. They both turned out awesome! Excellent flavor and so easy to achieve. I like things hot as does my family, so this was fine. I can see some people might have problems with the hotness though, so be careful when first making it.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
The dough rolled out beautifully and cut easily. However I was disappointed in the flavor which was rather bland. I even added some lemon zest. Next time I'll add some almond flavoring. I loved the texture and the softness so it's worth playing with the flavors to get this recipe to where I want it.

Spinach-Stuffed Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I made this christmas day and everyone loved it. I had the butcher butterfly the roast, I used fresh spinach (cooked it along with the onion and mushrooms till wilted) and added asiago cheese, I rubbed garlic on the outside of the roast. It was delicious. This will be standard for special occasions.

The best hot chocolate recipe I've tried, I reduced the sugar a little, but that's it. Thanks for the recipe.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
My 12 year old can't get enough of this soup. I make it often and use kale when I can find it, spinich works, but can be on the limp side. We make it extra spicy by using hot sausae and extra pepper flakes.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
When these first came out of the oven I would have given them 1 star. They were very cake like and disappointing. However, after they cooled they had that fudgy consistency I was looking for. I used dark cocoa. For the icing I didn't have honey so I used corn sryup instead. I had to add several drops of warm water to get the icing to mix together. I only baked them for about 22 minutes.
