Luscious Four-Layer PHILLY Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
Made this for Thanksgiving this year and everyone loved it. I followed the original recipe on the kraft website. The only difference is a 15oz. can of pumpkin and 8oz. tub of cool whip (I ended up using about 2 cups of cool whip)

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
Other than adding 1/8 tsp of cinnamon to the sauce for personal taste, I followed the recipe exactly and it came out PERFECT.I wouldn't make any other changes to this recipe. It truly deserves 5 stars the way it is.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
The meat sauce can run a little short so I do usually have to add an extra can of diced tomatoes and tomato paste and even it out with some extra spices(it doesn't need extra brown sugar). Takes a little more time than some other lasagna recipes but is well worth it. Love this recipe and my boyfriend gets very excited when I make it. He likes it when I mix half ricotta, half cottage cheese.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I only made this because I'd made a large ham and had lots of leftovers. I Followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. Tastes more like a chowder than a soup. I will be making this more often now. I made this again for a x-mas party and everyone LOVED it. Great recipe.

Best Brownies

I doubled this recipe in an 8 x 8 pan but the original recipe would have been plenty. Took a little longer for the center to cook but still turned out very good.

I followed this recipe exactly as written and it turned out great. I've tried a lot of banana bread recipes and this is the best one yet.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
I was thinking to myself while filling my muffin pan, "wow, you really have to use every last drop to make these fit" not realizing the recipe is for 8 large muffins not 12 regular ones. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly and they still tasted great. The only thing I found odd was the batter seemed very thick, not like it looks in the video of this recipe at all. Being that thick did help the blueberries from sinking...

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I chose this recipe because I was out of milk. I can't say I was expecting it to be very good but luckily I was wrong and it is actually a really good and simple recipe. The only change I make was adding a little vanilla and a sprinkle of brown sugar to the mix to give it a little more flavour.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
Made this for a party and it was a big hit. Everyone wanted the recipe and I had to make it again for my mother and sister. I used sour cream instead of mayo like many reviews suggested and used a package of pre shredded itialian cheese mix. It was better than some I have had in restaraunts but feel like it was missing just a little something. Next time I may try it with the mayonnaise or try the restaraunt style recipe. All in all great recipe and easy to alter.

Absolutely Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Used all purpose flour instead of self rising and added 1/4 tsp baking powder. The brownies didn't really seem to rise at all so I'm guessing the flour makes a big difference. Definately tasted good but would make a double or triple batch so they're not so flat next time. Also topped with chocolate icing and crushed walnuts. mmmm

Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
I would like to give this recipe 4.5 stars. The only changes I make are adding a tablespoon or so of lemon juice to the apples if they aren't very tart. Instead of sprinkling I coat the apples in a bowl before dumping them in the pie shell. Milk or egg wash on top, depending on what I have on hand.
