Cheesy Taco Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
I replaced the crushed tomatoes for Rotel but followed the rest of the recipe as called for. Looks a little weird but taste good and went very fast at the work food day. Next time I will probably just cube the cheese and put all the ingredients in warm (cooked the meat the prior night).

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
This came out really yummy but a little underdone. Next time I think I will leave this in the oven another 5 minutes @ 475 F a little while longer before turning the oven off.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
Super easy and yummy with ingredients that I have on hand! At first I thought this was too sweet but the spiciness really balances it out. That sauce would be really good mixed with veggies and rice as well!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
This recipe did not work for me at all. It was too stiff and wouldn't spread even after adding extra water.

French Onion Dip From Scratch

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
Made this exactly as written EXCEPT I used all sour cream, no mayo. Mixed this up & tasted it before ever putting it in the fridge to meld together... YUM! Thank you so much for sharing!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
I made this recipe for a Christmas dinner at work. It was not what I was expecting. I was expecting the dish to be very creamy, rich and moist. It was not any of those things. I believe I will be returning back to my family recipe next time.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
This is the best stroganoff ever! I love the cream cheese in it rather than sour cream. I do find that I prefer my sauce thicker than what it turns out to like, so I usually just add some cornstarch to thicken it up. Also, I cannot usually find the golden mushroom soup, so I just buy a can of cream of mushroom soup and a small can of mushrooms (drained) that I cut up before putting in the crockpot. Defiently try out this recipe. It's easy and oh so delicious!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
I tried this recipe in hopes of a very yummy cookie. I followed all the directions precisely and I was aware that the cookies would be a little different coming out of the oven until they had cooled. The cookies were very gooey even after cooling for a day. Basically, they were an underbaked cookie and it was not appetizing at all. My husband usually eats my whole batch of cookies within a day or two, but these set for over a week until I had to just throw them away. What a waste of money and ingredients.

Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
This is a very good chili recipe. I love that it can set all day while I am at work and I do not have to worry about it cooking too long. It always taste better the longer it sets anyways. My husband also likes it. He says that it is a lot like the chili that they have at Wendy's. I know that many comments complain about the chili being to bland. I do not mind as some of the people that I have eating this do not like spicy foods. I always leave some tabasco sauce and extra seasoning out for those who do like it spicy. I do prefer to use my own chili seasoning mix though. I have made this recipe with only one pound of hamburger as well and it still turns out great. Also, do not forget that while the chili is cooking it will create it's own broth from the steam. I was afraid that it wouldn't the first time I made this and it turned a little more soupy than I prefer, but it was still great.
