About this Cook
I'm 23 and married with very busy little boy! I'm a stay at home mom and love to try new things!
My favorite things to cook
I love anything fast, but I don't mind trying recipes that take a lot of work. I could eat pasta all day every day but I'm trying to cut back! I love to bake and make yummy sweets for my family!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother is the best cook. She always made very detailed, several course meals. Always healthy and well balanced. Holidays were the best of course and one of my favorite recipes of hers is a mushroom/wine gravy. The best!
My cooking triumphs
Everything I make is a triumph because I've put lots of love into all of my dishes. That's the best ingredient of all. Cooking is very relaxing to me, it's just me and the food. I'm looking forward to making my son's first birthday cake which will be a caterpillat cake. That will be my greatest triumph!
My cooking tragedies
Oh dear, there are a few. When I was a teenager, my mom asked me to make stir fry for dinner and my measurements were a little off. I put waaaay too much oil in the pan and we had deep fry instead of stir fry, it was pretty awful. I've never made that mistake again though.
Recipe Reviews 2 reviews
Awesome awesome awesome!!! Just like my grandmother's! I'm so pleased. I'd tried other recipes before and my popovers never "popped" correctly. I had no custard cups so I ended up working with a muffin tin and 12 perfect little popovers!! Excellent!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Very good recipe. Fairly easy and tasted great. My first try at Pot Roast, and I'm very pleased. Served with Popovers from this site. Excellent!
