Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This recipe was magikal. In every sense of th word; quick, easy, newbie friendly, I was even able to substitute champagne for white wine, it was all I had left over from New Years, and it was fabulous! Every single clam opened, and I had never steamed clams before. I also left it on about medium heat through the steaming process, they were all opened in about 15 mins. served with aspargus and almonds steamed in a lemone butter sauce. I also threw in a fres sprig of rosemary and dill in the pot, delicious! I will certainly be making this again!

Country Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
A Great Basic Quiche! I added the bacon crumbles in with the onion and I choped about 1/2c broccoli and put that in the pan with the onions. I also lined the crust with the shredded mozzarella to keep it dry (creating a 'raincoat' for the crust; and I crumbled a goat cheese within the mixture with some dried cranberries which sweetened thigs up a bit. Also the four eggs were not enoug mixture so I whisked in a can of hot condensed milk before adding the other ingrediants. Ok, i changed it a lot, but it turned out lovely! It was perfectly moist, not at all wet, and the consistency was marvelous! Be creative!

Rib Eye Steaks with a Soy and Ginger Marinade

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This recipe was fantastic! I have a four year old and a breastfeeding newborn, so time is not my friend lately; these steaks were beautifully flavored with minimal marinating! I love this recipe!
