My favorite things to cook
I love to cook for my significant other, but it's just the two of us, so meals that make good leftovers are the best. I also have a sweet tooth so I spend most of my free time baking yummy treats.

now that I live a thousand miles from my mom, maybe she will finally give me her broccoli casserole recipe for Thanksgiving! (her sweet potato pie recipe would be nice too!)

Carrot Cupcakes with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing
i wanted to give this recipe 5 stars, but i slightly changed this , and haven't actually tried how it's written here. instead of nuts i used a mixture of golden raisins and currents, and i used just a cream cheese frosting instead of the white chocolate, but they are good without frosting at all!

Best Brownies
These brownies were awesome! I couldn't stop eating them, even after I gave myself a tummy ache. I don't get the point of heating the butter on the stove, I just melted it in the microwave, them added it to the sugar. Over all, these were the yummiest brownies I have ever had, and really easy, too

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls
Definitely my favorite treat when friends and family are around. Normally I love sweetness, but I have been leaving the frosting on the side on it's been left off by the majority. I also get bored when I bake the same thing a lot (which I have been doing with this one) so I changed it up by adding golden raisins and dried apricots. My boyfriend added his own thing by kneading it twice as long, then rolling it out to size, brushing melted butter on it, folding it in half and repeating a few times. The best part about this, other than the yummy, flakier layers, is that it rolls out into more of a perfect rectangle, so the rolls are just a little more even.
