Rhubarb Cake I

This cake is great! Called Lunar Rhubarb Cake in Canada. I used 1c splenda + 1/2c sugar in the batter and 1/2c brown sugar and 1/4c splenda in the topping. I found this to be plenty sweet.

Brownie Pudding

Like other reviewers, I also cut the amount of brown sugar (2/3c) and water (3/4c) in the pudding portion. It was great and still very sweet!

Simple Scones

1/22/12-I halved the recipe and added 1.5 tsp of imitation vanilla in attempt to make these vanilla scones. They were ok, but nothing amazing.

Mom's Coleslaw

Yum! This is a great, traditional coleslaw recipe and super easy. I put in slightly less sugar than the recipe called for and still felt like it was sweet so I will modify further next time. Otherwise, very good!

Chicken, Garlic, and Sundried Tomato Pasta

12/3/09-This recipe was great! I wasn't exactly sure how to measure the sun-dried tomatoes but I ended up using about 1.5oz. I love them so next time I'll use the whole 3oz bag.

My Best Clam Chowder

11/7/09-I used 1/3c butter, 1/2c flour, and fat free half & half and this was very rich and thick. I think the fat free half & half gave it a sweeter taste than it would have had otherwise. Next time I will definitely use part milk. I put in 3 cans of chopped clams and also used extra clam juice instead of water as others recommended to cook the veggies. I think this could easily accommodate 2 more cans of clams to give it more clam flavor.
