Spaghetti Sauce III

This is a really good sauce. I made a few changes. i added a small can of V-8 juice. i also added a small can of sliced black olives and 3 T of capers. A great base to add your own favorites!

Clam Chowder Casserole

I just made this and followed the directions exactly. I did not think it was to runny with the clam juice. I thought the clams came out tough. I cooked it for 30 minutes. Next time I will omit the clams and just use it as a side dish.

Marinated Flank Steak

Hmm, this was interesting, I give it two because the smell while it was cooking was wonderful, but the taste was bizarre. I tried the garlic with it, but that didn't help.

Hash Brown Casserole II

I made this on Sunday for a family cookout, It was a big hit. I did change a few things. I used Ritz Crackers sauteed in butter for my topping and added a few generous dashes of Tabasco for an added punch. This is now on my monthly recipe rotation!

Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce

I love clam sauce, but this was to oily.I recommend more butter and the clam juice should be added. Spices were great.

Omelet in a Bag

This was crazy, but easy and wonderful. I beat the eggs in bowl and then diveded them into the frezer bags. My family had so much fun putting in their own ingredients. My kids now ask for "bag eggs" all the time. Great Recipe!

Artichoke Hearts au Gratin

This was ok. I am not the biggest fan of Italian dressing,so I thought the dressing overpowered the artichokes. Next time I try this I will sub Olive Oil for the Italian dressing

This was very good and as it said very elegant. My family would have turned up their noses at the lavender flowers, so I left them off. I couldn't find the pears it called for so I just regular ones.
