I've made a tone of these biscotti! I have them all in an air tight container. I plan on giving them as part of everyone's Christmas gift. I know they'll be a hit!

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
I have made these buns a few times already! My husband and I love 'em! I took some advice and let dough rise for an hour, then rolled the dough into balls, letting them rise for another 30 mins and then baking them. Worked perfectly!

Best Ever Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
My husband and I really enjoyed these muffins. I've been looking for a good Corn Bread recipe, and I've found it! There is too much sugar, which I'll be experiementing with. They taste more like a cupcake than a muffin. I'll be making these again for sure, but I'll cut down on the sugar.

Mock Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
It wasn't what I expected. It was bland, and the crackers didn't stick to the outside of the meat when frying. I made my own country gravy, and that made the difference. Together it was good. My husband tried it with the gravy and without and didn't like it. Instead, he added ketchup, and was able to finish his dinner. I doubt I'll make this again.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
The day I made these cookies, I thought they were bland. I made half the dough and put the rest in the fridge. I thought maybe they needed more sugar since I used all natural peanut butter. However, I thought I'd try them one more time. Two days after putting them in the fridge I made the rest of the batch. The cookies were a tablespoon and a half in size. (Before baking.) I baked them for 7 minutes, and let them cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheet. Then I moved them to an air tight container where they cooled completely. They turned out 10x's better! They were moist, and so soft. The flavor was there too! I don't know what did it, the refridgeration, the less time to cook, or maybe the container. But I'm glad it worked!

I used whole wheat flour, and I also couldn't wait 4 hours, I just had to try these cookies! I put them in the freezer for 20 minutes. Then I baked them for 8 minutes. They turned out so soft and chewy! Yummy!

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
My husband isn't a fan of garlic with chicken, so I skipped adding it. I thought the sauce was a little thin, so I thickened it with flour. And I also cooked the chicken in peanut oil. Tasted great!

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
I used unsalted tortilla chips, low fat sour cream, low fat cheddar cheese, and low fat mozzarella cheese. My husband and I agree that taco seasoning should be added to the ground beef. If I make this again, I will be adding it!

Lemon Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
The chicken was good on its own. I made the sauce according to the reecipe and like the others found it too sweet. I played around and still felt that it was missing something. Either way it was too sour or too sweet. I won't make this recipe again.

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I used whole wheat flour, and added sausage. I've never had gnocchi until I made them today. So I don't know any better or worse for comparison. I'm thinking that next time I will fry them.

Chicken Cucumber Boats

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
My hubby and I thought this recipe was good. A healthy meal is important. I used light mayo, and light mozzerella cheese. I cooked the chicken two hours before, and seasoned them with salt and pepper. I shredded the chicken instead of cubing it. I thought refridgerating it for too long might make it soggy, so that's why I cooked the chicken, and waited until dinner time to prepare everything. This meal didn't require a fork, just pick it up with your hands and eat! Yummy!

Eclairs II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I followed the recipe, with the exception of using whole wheat flour. They turned out great! I made my own piping bag with a plastic sandwich bag, and I cut a half in hole in one of the bottom corners and squeezed out the dough. It worked wonderfully! I'd never made whipped cream before, and I did it! With the chocolate topping, I used Nutella instead, which added to the flavor and made it so gooooood!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
My pudding didn't thicken as much as I expected. The flavor was good though. And I made fudge pops with them as another person did. They were so yummy! I'll probably make this pudding again this summer when I'm craving a fudge pop!
