My favorite things to cook
I love slow cooker meals, or roasts and other things that cook for hours making the house smell good. I'm a fan of comfort food, and like experimenting with flavors and ingredients. I don't enjoy complicated recipes, baking, or deep frying. I'm always on the hunt for recipes that have that comfort food taste and smell, but are healthy without feeling like taste has been compromised.

Friendship Soup Mix in a Jar
I gave this soup last year as gifts and it was a huge success! I had several extra jars that I saved for us, but whenever I went to the pantry to pull one out, I'd found my daughter had given them all away to friends who'd had the soup and wanted to make more!
